When the two arrived at Hyunjin's room Minho finally put Hyunjin down.
"Thanks hyung" Hyunjin whispered not wanting the others outside know he's awake.
"The opportunity to talk to him is already here Hyun why not grab it already I don't want you to regret it later on." Minho said as he hears his heart breaking into pieces but that didn't matter Minho always wanted for Hyunjin to be happy, he loved the younger way too much that he was fine even if it meant that he was the one who'd be hurt just so that he would see Hyunjin's pretty smile that he loved so much. I must be a masochist. He thought laughing mockingly at himself.
"I'm still not ready hyung... I don't know where to start" Hyunjin said while he was fiddling with his fingers.
"You can't fool me Hyunjin I know you know where to start you're just afraid aren't you?" Minho said and he was right. Hyunjin was just scared and anxious with all the what if's he has inside his head. What if Chan found someone better? Of course he will. I was never enough. Chan must hate me. Those were what the voices were shouting in his mind. Just when he thought he'd stop hearing those voices it all came back in just a snap. With Minho knowing Hyunjin like an open book he noticed the sudden change in Hyunjin's aura so he sat beside the younger and held his hands this always calm and comfort Hyunjin.
"Don't listen to them Hyun, don't listen to whatever they're saying" Minho said voice soft and comforting and before he knows it Hyunjin is already hugging him with tears falling down on the other's face. He just rubbed Hyunjin's back a gesture that it was okay to cry and that Hyunjin can lean on him. Minho didn't say anything and just waited for the younger to calm down. He knew that the best thing to do when Hyunjin breaksdown is just be there for him Hyunjin didn't need words he just needed reassurance that someone was there for him and comfort him.
"Thank you for always being by my side hyung" Hyunjin mumbled quietly that if his face wasn't buried on Minho's chest Minho wouldn't have heard it.
"I'll always be here Hyun" Minho replied quietly knowing that Hyunjin must be tired from crying. The room was filled with a comforting silence and after awhile it was broke by Hyunjin's soft little snores.
