New Beginning

Hyunjin's really thankful for Minho. Minho helped him feel a lot better. Minho teased him, made him laugh, cuddled with him, made food for him, listened to his concerns... Minho's just always been there... and Hyunjin had this unexplainable feeling but he brushed it off. He just kinda broke up with Chan, well properly this time.

The 8 met up once again for the project and to be honest everyone thought it would be awkward even Chan and Hyunjin did but strangely enough the mood was fine? Even between the 2 they talked normally with each other this time there were no more lingering intention, no more confusion, no more... feelings just like them, the them before they dated when the were only friends. And to be honest the mood in the studio as they were working together was great as if nothing was wrong. It was rather peaceful and both were happy with that everyone was.

~2 months after~

Chan and Hyunjin were in good terms really, it's real this time. They were friends, there was no more tension between them. Chan and Sana were working out their relationship while Minho and Hyunjin well...

"Yah! Minho hyung~" Hyunjin whined running up to the older after his classes. Minho just slung his arms on the younger's shoulder and ruffled his hair.

"Hey" Minho said smiling.

"I don't like your dance class." Hyunjin said pouting. Minho just laughed at that.

"Do you like me that much?" Minho said teasing the younger.

"I spend the whole day with you after I teach though?"

"That Jungwoo guy keeps on flirting with you though, I don't like it" Hyunjin huffed not even processing what he said it just came out unfiltered. And Minho was flustered, shocked even, the tip of his ears turning red.

"Yah... Hwang Hyunjin did you just confess to me?" Minho said and as if finally hit by it just realizing when Minho mentioned it Hyunjin turned red running away from Minho. Oh My God! What the fuck Hwang Hyunjin Pull yourself together. Fuck did I really just confess? That isn't a confession though right? Oh my godd how am I gonna face Minho hyung now? Hyunjin's thoughts were running wild.

"Yah Hwang Hyunjin wait up!" He heard Minho say as the older was chasing him. To say Minho was happy and delighted was an understatement. He felt like he can run miles. He just needed to hear that again from Hwang Hyunjin. Finally catching up he grabbed Hyunjin's wrist and made him stop.

"Wait" Minho said panting tired from chasing Hyunjin.

Hyunjin on the other hand can't look the older in the eyes... FUCK he's gonna reject me isn't he... No worse he'll make fun of me? Maybe he won't take it seriously... He won't right? Oh my godd if he's going to reject me I-

"Hwang Hyunjin" Minho called out breaking Hyunjin's train of thoughts.

"Why did you have to ruin my plan?" Minho said. What? Hyunjin thought. His heart breaking into pieces, his chest clenching. It hurt. As he was afraid that he might cry infront of the older he kept looking down. Fighting the tears that were about to escape.

"I was supposed to confess first." Minho said smiling intertwining his and Hyunjin's hand. Pulling Hyunjin into a hug. Hyunjin was still processing what the older meant and when he finally understood he was shocked and happy and dumbfounded. He was feeling to happy words weren't enough to describe how he felt.

"You asshole I thought you were gonna reject me." Hyunjin said laughing while also returning the hug. It felt nice. Both of them felt warm. Minho was shocked at that was Hyunjin really that oblivious?

"Wow, Hwang Hyunjin you're really dumb aren't you?" Minho teased (it was kind of true though) pulling out of the hug but still holding the younger's hand.

"Hey! aren't you suppose to treat me nicely since I'm already your boyfriend?" Hyunjin doesn't know where he got the confidence. At this point he was just saying what he truly wanted to sayThe world stopped. Minho thinks he also felt his heart stop. God he thinks he's gonna have a heart attack.

"Hyunjin you shouldn't say those kind of things so suddenly. I might have a heart attack." Minho said. Now Minho was flustered. Even if he wanted to hide it, it was to obvious. Hyunjin found that cute.

"Don't tell me you still think about that courting stage when we've known each other for years now hyung." Hyunjin laughed. It was true though, they knew each other very well that they'd know if something's up even from far away.

"Fair enough" The older replied as the continue to walk going back to their shared apartment. Both with full, happy and contented hearts. The long wait was worth it and even if Minho was given the chance to go back in time he'd still choose this path and only this even if the feelings were not to be reciprocated being around Hyunjin was enough. The younger reciprocating his feelings was just an addition to it.

Finally the book where Chan and Hyunjin were the main characters ended. Leading to a new story wherein Minho and Hyunjin was now the main. The way it was meant to be.
