The life seemed dark than it was really, her mother often got panick attacks. Mohasin Rizvi, her father was only the earning member in the family.

" Appi, ammi ki tabiyat aur bigad rahi hai. " Falak informed her.

Turning the stove off she nodded, " Hum ammi ke paas ja rahe hai. Tum yahan zara rotiya bana do. " She said.

" Ji. "

Ayesha walked inside her mother's room, seeing a lioness weeping like a kid wasn't at all easy.

" Ammi? " Ayesha called softly, making sure that it's not loud enough to scare her.

" Ammi, aapko bhuk lagi hai? " Ayesha asked sitting beside her.

" Haan. Kya paka hai? " She asked.

" Aloo ki sabzi aur Falak rotiya paka rahi hai. Chaliye. " Ayesha tugged her arm.

" Khaana yahan le aao Ayu, hum bahar nahi aayenge. " Her mother said.

" Ammi, kitne din aise khudko kaid rakhengi aap? Kabhi na kabhi toh bahar aana hoga aapko. Chaliye, iss andhere mein jitna aap khudko kaid rakhengi utna hi abbu ki maut ka gum aapko aur sataega. Chaliye. " Ayesha helped her mother get up and brought her out to the dinning.

" Falak, yahan ammi ke paas ruko, hum khana lagate hai. " Ayesha said.

" Ji. "

Having a silent lunch, three of them parted to their rooms, Ayesha asked Falak to stay with her mother and keep her updated with her mother's health.

" Tod do yeh darwaza!!!"

Hearing the hustle bustle she rushed downstairs, the riotians were storming on her door.

Salma, her mother and Falak came out running.

" Ayu, humare paas waqt nahi hai. Falak ko leke piche ke darwaaze se bhaag jao. " Her mother said looking at the intensifing voice.

" Ammi, par aap? " She asked.

" Jaao bewakoofon! " She said pushing both the sisters out of the back door as the door burst open.

Both of them rushed out of it. All they could hear was their mother's last scream.

" Ammi!!! " Falak cried, but Ayesha muffled her cry and ran off the place dragging Falak along her.
