Part 14- First Date

(Y/n POV)

I took the elevator down to the car park, mentally praying that Jihoon was there and that this wasn't some sick prank.

I arrived and the car park was pretty much empty to see Jihoon standing beside my car that we shared, he would pay help pay for the gas and repair.

He was looking around and seemed to be biting his nails. He was wearing regular jeans and a hoodie.

He looked at me realising that I was here.

"You came, I didn't think you would." we said at the same time.

We looked at each other and then laughed.

"Come on, let's get into the car, it's cold out here." He said, unlocking the car and helping me open the door.

He went over to the other side and got in.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked, as he started to drive.

"To see meteors." He said.

"I know that but like where exactly?"

"Secret."

"Then doesn't this count as kidnapping."

He chuckled, "Y/n 1 your an adult so it wouldn't count as kidnapping, 2 you on your own will agreed to come here especially seeing how your dressed today."

"Okay, maybe that was stretching it a bit."

He parked the car and got out to help me get out.

"Where's this?" I asked getting down and looking around, making sure to grab my jacket and phone.

"We are going up the mountain to the top, in order to see the meteors."

"Well then thank god I worn trainers instead of high-heels." I said, wiggling my feet to show him.

He smiled and said, "let's go, don't want to miss it."

We started to walk and 15mins later I sat down on one of the benches.

"I'm too old for this." I said, trying to catch my breathe.

"Tired?" Jihoon asked, taking a seat beside me.

I nodded.

"Come on."

I looked up to see him bending down to give me a piggy-back.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Of course, have you seen my muscles?" he said, showing me his flexed arms.

"Show off." I said, but nevertheless got on.

In all truthfulness Jihoon did go to the gym pretty often.

5 minutes later we arrived to the top, the mountain wasn't very big, it was more of a really big hill and the top was grassy.

Jihoon laid down on the grass while I laid my jacket down on the grass first then got down beside him.

"When do you think it'll start?" I asked, turning around to face him, only then noticing my face was quite close to him so I slowly inched away a bit.

Jihoon looked at his watch which was lit by the street lamps.

"Soon." He said, taking my already sweaty hands in his.

We were just talking, with me nearly falling asleep as it was way pass my usual sleep time.

"Oh, oh there's one!" Jihoon said, he got up and put his hands together, closing his eyes to make a wish.

"Quickly, make a wish!" he said, noticing I was half-asleep.

I got up and sat beside him making a wish before taking my phone out and taking a few pictures.

"What did you wish for?" Jihoon asked, looking at me.

"Secret, if I tell you it wouldn't come true." I said, looking at his now, lit by meteor face.

"What's your wish then?" I said, asking him.

"You said it was a secret." he said, sticking his tongue out at me.

I laughed and we both laid back down again watching the last few of them fall.

As soon as it was finished, it turned dark again with nothing but the street lamps as the only source of light.

We were once again in silence, I decided that I liked tonight it was peaceful and I got to do something off my bucket list.

Suddenly Jihoon spoke, "I have a confession."

"What?" I asked, the happiness noticeable in my voice.

"I like you Y/n."

"So do I?" I said, confused with his sudden confession.

"No not in a friend way I mean more than that." he said.

"Then in what way?" I said.

"In this way."

He sat up and pulled me with him then attached his lips to mine.

I thought I was about to pass out, with the feeling of warmth and soft lips on my own. I didn't know what to do as it was my first kiss, the overwhelming of butterflies making me feel on cloud 9.

He pulled away and laid back down.

"In that way." he said.

I didn't speak back as I was in shock, I just had my first kiss, trying to look anywhere but Jihoon and his lips.

I decided that it was now or never, "I like you too Jihoon," I said, with full confidence then starting to feel embarrassed.

His eyes grew wide, "Really!"

I laid back down beside him, "well it's not like I'd lie about my feelings."

He nodded.

It was kinda awkward after that, but like a good awkward.

I was hoping he'd make the next move and to Jihoon vice versa.

"H-", we said at the same time.

We laughed, "you go first," Jihoon said.

"No you go first." I insisted.

Jihoon did a side smile, "how about we go back home and think this over, and we can tell each other in 3 days when we finally think this over."

"This is the one time you are being smart and putting your brain to use"

He looked at me, "I'll take that as a compliment."

"It was meant to be!"

He flicked my head.

"Hey!" I said, glaring at him and rubbing my head.

"Let's go home now, it's getting cold." he said, getting up.

I gave him my hand and he pulled me up.

"It's so cold." I said.

"What's your jacket for then you idiot?" He said, getting it off the ground helping me put it on.

"Do you need me to carry you down too?"

"No thanks, I'm independent."

"Tsk, says the one who needs help getting up the hill."

"One off."
