(Jihoon POV)
I opened my eyes looking around the room, I had a terrible pain in the back of my neck due to the terrible position I was sleeping in yesterday.
I looked at Y/n she was still lying in bed. It was like she was just asleep and for a second I believed that she was. That she was just asleep.
I got up to take a walk around the room to stretch my legs.
I then went to the toilet when I came out the was a nurse there checking up on Y/n.
She heard me approaching and turned around before giving me a small smile and bowed then said, "morning."
"Morning." I said, returning the smile.
She left the room and closed the door behind her.
My phone got a ping I checked it and it was a text from Yeji.
She had told me that I don't have to go to work for today and that she will come during lunch because Y/n's parent will arrive. And added in the end to look after Y/n.

There was a knock on the door followed by it swinging open.
It was noon and I had just finished lunch down at the hospital café. Not that I had much appetite.
I looked up to see Yeji with Y/n's parents.
I got up and greeted them.
"Hello auntie. Hello uncle."
They smiled at me before walking towards Y/n's bed and sitting down on the 2 chairs beside it.
Their faces showed a variety of emotions.
Pain and disbelief being the main ones.
Yeji gestured for me to sit down on the sofa in the corner instead of standing there awkwardly.
We both sat down and the room was filled with silence.
I was filling Yeji with the thing that happened this morning until I was interrupted by a sob.
I looked over to see that Y/n's mum was crying.
"Oh my god, auntie!" Yeji said, rushing over, grabbing tissues on the way.
Yeji and Y/n's dad was comforting her with Yeji hugging her while uncle was wiping her tissue.
I walked over to the group and kneeled down with them.
"Auntie, I know you are in a lot of pain right now, but so is everyone else. Crying won't help Y/n get better. We can only hope for speedy recovery and besides I don't think Y/n would want her mum to be crying over her, right?"
Auntie nodded still crying.
"I know it's not going to help but seeing her in this state it's hard not to."
"Yes auntie, we know how you feel. Me and Jihoon are already in so much pain but I can't even begin to think about how you 2 are feeling right now."
"No dear, Y/n thought of you 2 more than friends, you guys were her family too," uncle said.
"He's right." auntie said, "Yeji you have been with Y/n all of her life now and helped her in countless situations. Jihoon, although Y/n only knew you for a few month you cheer her up and look after her, you have no idea how much she talks about you to us." auntie said.
Yeji smiled, "it's the least we can do for her."

(No one POV)
Over the months, Y/n's accident affected her close friends and family greatly.
Jihoon couldn't concentrate on anything from eating to working to sleeping. Yeji spent countless nights worried over how this would all end, her mind thinking of all the negative stuff.
Her parent went back to Iksan but texted Yeji and Jihoon daily for updates on Y/n's condition.
Many family and friends had come to visit Y/n. All wishing and praying for her to wake up but no one visited as much as Jihoon.
Everyday when he had time he would be there, with his dark eyebags and baggy clothes.
Everyone wished for a fast recovery scared of the same thing. Scared that Y/n couldn't make it.
