1 year later

It was summer once again and today we had taken a day off work as Jihoon had finally made up with his parents and today I was going to see them, Jihoon also said that he would take me somewhere after.

I was sitting at my desk trying to get my eyeliner to be equal, Jihoon was still in the shower even though we were due to leave in half an hour. I had been rushing him all day to get ready but he had to leave it till last minute.

I was wearing the same dress that I had worn on my first date with Jihoon, hoping that it would give me some luck and my hair was in a high ponytail.

I apply some lipstick and then I was done, I walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa to wait for him. I looked at my phone to check what time it was to see that I got a text from Yeji saying good luck and that she was going to leave for her date.

I replied to her then went to my emails to see if there was anything. A few minutes later I looked up hearing Jihoon entering the living room. He was dressed in a white t-shirt, black suit and dark blue tie.

"How do I look?" he asked, turning around to show me the back.

"Amazing, as always." I said, smiling, "but why is your hair still wet?" I reached up to fix his hair smoothing it out as it was all ruffled up.

"Didn't have time to dry it, but it's fine it'll dry by the time we get there." he said, looking into the mirror by the front door to make sure that his tie was straight.

"All right, let's go then, or we'll be late." I said, grabbing my purse and phone.

We walked into the restaurant and I was grabbing onto Jihoon's arm out of nervousness.

"If you grab my arm any tighter, the blood circulation will stop and my arm will fall off." he said, bending down to whisper into my ear.

"I'm really nervous." I managed to say back.

He grabbed my shoulder to face him and said," it's fine Y/n don't be nervous, just pretend that you're in a work meeting yea? Put on your work mode and impress them." He kissed the tip of my nose and then I heard someone call his name.

I looked over and seen 2 people that looked exactly liked Jihoon. They waved for us to come over and Jihoon took my hands.

"You'll be fine, I'm here and I'll make sure it won't be awkward." He said while we walked over to them.

"You must be Y/n, we've heard Jihoon talk so much about you since we made up. I must say I'm really sorry, he must've been a burden to you and caused you trouble." said his mum as soon as we reached.

Jihoon's dad told his mum to stop talking so much and told me to take a seat. I took a seat beside her and said, "auntie, it's okay everyone fights and don't worry Jihoon was not at all a burden, in fact he helped me get my life back together."

During the whole dinner I made sure to keep in mind what Jihoon said last night about being myself as his parent were business owners and could spot fakes miles away.

The dinner went smoothly but we left early and didn't eat dessert as Jihoon said that he had to take me somewhere.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked, getting into the car and putting on my seatbelt. But Jihoon only said that it was a secret.

I was looking forward to it as last time Jihoon said that I had the best time of my life, apart from the time that me and Yeji managed to trick Jeongwoo to think that he was dead and we were in hell. It was hilarious and we managed to keep it up for a few hours.

Soon we were here and as soon as I got out I realized that the place was familiar, "isn't this where we had our first date?" I asked in disbelief.

"You guess it." he said, getting out of the car.

"But if we have to climb up this hill how am I meant to do that, I wore heels today?" I said, showing it to him.

"Good thing I was prepared seeing you in heels earlier." he went to the back of the car and brought out my favourite trainers.

"You thought of this too?" I said, taking it and changing.

"I'm just too good for this world." he said.

I laughed and we started to climb up the hill again, this brought back a lot of memory of when we first did this, only today it wasn't in the dark and whenever we got to the top I saw something else.

"There's a beach on the other side of this hill?" I asked, looking at it amazed.

"Yep, and that's were we are going today."

Climbing down the other side of the hill was hard as there was no road and so it was slippery. When we did get there, there was other people on the beach as well and the sunset was about to happen.

"Omg the sunset, another thing on my bucket list!" I said. I ran over and plonked myself down forgetting that Jihoon was even here.

"Y/n." he called, I answered but my mind was empty enjoying the scene in front of me letting the smell of the beach wrap itself around me.

He called my name again and this time I looked over, he was standing up, "yea?"

"Get up for a second." he said, I got up confused at what he was about to do but then he kneeled down as soon as I got up and immediately I knew what he was doing.

"YES YES YES, a million yes, a billion yes!" I exclaimed, my heart pounding faster.

"You don't even know what I'm about to ask." he said, but he was smiling and from his pocket he took out a little box with a ring in it.

"Would you Park Y/n make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?"

I screamed and shouted yes, he put the ring on my finger and picked me up, whirling me around while attaching his lips to mine.
