Part 11- Christmas

(Y/n POV)

I woke up to my alarm ringing as I had to get up early in order to help prep the party.

I got up and looked around trying to adjust to the bright light before shaking Jihoon.

"Wake up!"

I called him a few more times before heading to the bathroom, I came out to see him sitting on the bed with his legs hanging off.

"Go wash up." I said, flicking his forehead.

He pouted at me and walked into the bathroom.

I quickly changed, made the bed and went downstairs to find everyone downstairs apart from Jihoon and Jeongwoo.

"So when are we opening the gifts?" I asked.

"When Jeongwoo and Jihoon comes down." Soyoung answered.

Under the Christmas tree there was a huge pile of colourfully wrapped presents, each with their own label of who owns which one.

We heard footsteps coming down the stairs and then moments later the two of them walked in.

"Oooo, it's time for my favourite time of the year." Jeongwoo said, sitting down still in his pjs.

"Why aren't you changed?" Mum asked.

"I'll just do it later."

Mum gave Jeongwoo a look, "okay, but you better do it before the guests come."

"I know, I know mum." He said, "let's just open the gifts now."

With that he reached out to a gift with Christmas tree wrapping paper and started to open it after making sure it was his.

I followed after and soon the room was filled with tearing noises and occasional scream of delight.

"Mum I can't believe you actually got me the rings I've always wanted!" Soyoung said, reaching over to try hug mum.

I had finished unwrapping and was pretty excited with my pile of new stuff that I got.

I thanked mum and dad for their gifts which was bath salts and a photo book full of photos from when I was newborn to now.

We all excused ourselves to put our gifts away before going back upstairs.

Jihoon had gotten me a jar of capsule letter message, each one with a carefully written message on it, I haven't read any of them yet though.

And I also got a best friends necklace and new perfume from Yeji, a mug which said 'don't talk to me before I've had my coffee' from Jeongwoo.

And a ferris photo wheel from Soyoung, fancy colouring pencils from Chanyeol and some gifts from other aunts and uncles.

I packed everything away in my suitcase as we were leaving in 2 days and tried to carefully put Soyoung gift in my suitcase without breaking it.

I looked over at Jihoon after I was done to see him staring at something in his hands.

"What are you looking at?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing just the chain necklace that Jina got me."

"She got you a gift?" I said walking over to where he was.

"Yea, we're friends so of course."

"She never got me anything."

"I have the impression that she doesn't like you." Jihoon said, looking up at me.

I rolled my eyes, "and that probably because she has the biggest fattest crush on you."

He gave me a disgusted look.

"What?" I said, giggling at his face.

"Her? Like? Me?"

"Mens." I said, "they never notice anything."

"I do notice things about you" He said.

"What could you possibly know about me."

"That you're pretty."

My ears started to burn.

"L-let's just go down to breakfast now, everyone should be down already."

Jihoon laughed at my sudden change of mood and placed his necklace on the table before following me down.

It was 3:00pm right now, the guests would be here in 4:00pm.

Dad was busying in the kitchen cooking a whole load of food while mum was helping him.

We were setting everything out and getting some last minute decorations up.

Around 5 minutes after we had finished the decorations the first out of many doorbell rang.

Mum came rushing out of the kitchen and opened the door we were all behind her and she opened the door showing her sister, husband and their 3 kids.

The kids came in giggling and I rushed over to get slippers out for them.

Auntie and Uncle greeted us before heading into the kitchen probably to help Dad cook.

Jeongwoo went off to play with the 3 kids, Soyoung and Chanyeol went to the kitchen to have a talk with the adults and me and Jihoon were just left on the stairs waiting for the other guests to come.

I was about to get up and go play with the kids when I heard the doorbell ring again.

I went over to open the door showing my dad's brother and his 2 kids.

Jihoon quickly got up and went to say hi while I went to get slippers for everyone.

About 30mins later almost everyone was here just my aunt and uncle left.

The house was full of family members around 70, every where you went there would be someone in a room.

Me and Jihoon were on the stairs again waiting for the last two people when the doorbell rang again.

We got up and opened the door, Jihoon went to get slippers.

"Hello." I said, helping them to get in.

"Hello dear, how nice it is to see you again." auntie said.

"Here auntie, some slippers." Jihoon said, "and you too uncle."

"Oh what a helpful kid." uncle said.

"Is he your boyfriend?" auntie asked.
