Louis sat in the corner of Cole's room, who had happily welcomed him into his house. They had, however, stared daggers at Harry, as he had glared daggers right back at them. Louis personally thinks that Cole's glare is worse, mainly because he had spent years hating Harry, so he had sort of grown accustomed to the look. Cole rarely glared, or made any facial expression, really, they only really did it when they were really full of emotion.

Harry had kissed Louis on the cheek as a goodbye, though Louis was sure it was only in spite of Cole.

It had to be.

Either way, Harry would pick him up at nine to bring him back home, so that his mother wouldn't throw another fit, and he might stay. Harry had emphasized the 'might' when they discussed the idea, but they both knew he would stay either way.

After Harry had dropped Louis off, he had gone to Willow's house, and apparently Zayn went over too. Louis suggested inviting Niall and Liam too, but Cole said that they would just prefer some alone time with Louis.

They were currently redoing their eyeliner, which they like to do just for fun. They have also gotten better at it recently, to the point where they have switched from only doing the shadowy liner to liquid eyeliner of all colors, even adding designs like flowers into the eyeliner.

Cole's mom walked into the room just as Cole was finishing up on their eyes, her smile wide as she saw Louis.

"Hi Louis! I was just coming to ask Cole if you two wanted anything? I have some soda, and some water, and there's some chips. I could order pizza or Chinese take-out? Whatever you want."

"I'm not that hungry, thank you though," Louis smiles, "A friend made me a salad earlier."

"Oh," She frowns slightly, though not long enough for Louis to notice, "Cole?"

"I can just have some leftovers from last night, if that's ok."

"Sounds great! I'll be back in a minute!" She smiles, turning away from the door. Cole smiles back at her, and Louis waves behind her.

"Out of all of the moms that I've met, yours is the best. Harry's is terrible, but he still tries his best to be nice around her. Not that he actually tries. I think he tries at a lot of things, though. Like he tries to care about me and tries to be nice to me... it's just that he doesn't put a lot of effort in... to that or anything."

"You're ranting," Cole smirks, "And this is just a list of reasons why I don't like him. He's a dick."

"He's not that bad, though," Louis pouts, "Plus, he's hot."

"No."

"I'm leaving," Louis exclaims, "Come on, isn't he at least a little bit attractive?"

"No."

"I hate you."

"Thank you."

"But Cole, he's so cute. Like he reads, and he likes rom-coms, and he spent like a full hour today trying to make paper airplanes."

"That's not cute, that sounds like a child."

"It is cute!"

"You need help."

"Harry is very hot and cute."

"Is he a switch? He gives off switch energy."

"I don't know," Louis blushes, "We've never actually done anything."

"That much is obvious," Cole scoffs, "But answers the question."

"Well at first, it seemed obvious how it was going to be, but then I became stupidly in l- infatuated and it fucked up everything."
