The weeks leading into mid-April were ethereal. The capsule of that time in such a short period brought much change. The leaves budded, the snow melted away, rain and sun shifting in its place. Louis ignored Harry when he was with his friends, and during class, but he made so much of a majority of his schedule to fit Harry's that Harry could not find the need to care. Of course, occasionally he did get jealous, but that was almost always Cole's doing. Willow got along with Louis' huge group just fine, but it was different, because she was very kind.

Louis was most definitely not one for PDA, Harry had found out, at least not in school. Harry could see why not, they had transformed into some kind of fuck buddies, not boyfriends. Harry could never see Louis dating anyone, however. He only saw Louis as someone people have a crush on for a very long time, and then realize that he is way out of their league, so they move on. No one is really in Louis' league. The coolest guy in school (who is arguably Louis) would not even be his league. He deserved someone ten times cooler.

In other words, Louis was way too cool for Harry.

Harry walked through the hallway, Willow at his side, telling him about the pros and cons of Cole and Ivy. That was additionally something new- Willow had hooked up with Ivy. It was fine, because her and Cole weren't dating, and still aren't- but Willow needs to make a decision whether she wants Cole or Ivy.

"Willow, I don't know how you manage to get the people that hate me the most to like you," Harry smiles.

"Yeah, sorry about that," She laughed, but her voice was earnest, "I'll take you to the Spring Fair this weekend to make up for it?" Her suggestion was tempting, but then again, Harry could picture him and Louis on the Ferris wheel, with the stuffed animal Louis won for Harry, because Harry was shit at Fair games.

"I'll have to check my schedule," Harry lies, though it is only a white lie. He most definitely had nothing going on, but he had to check with Louis to make sure he didn't want to go with him.

"Come on, what would you have to do?" Willow whines.

"You never know, I have a very secret private life," Harry nods his head firmly, almost as firm as his self esteem on the topic.

"Harry, I know you and Louis are fucking," Willow smiles. Well, that most definitely bursted Harry's bubble. A frown grows across his face, full of puzzled eyes, rather than those of anger.

"How did you know?" He musters out of his mouth, coming through barriers of thoughts that had previously left him speechless.

"Body language," She responds, "You also stare at his ass a lot, and when you 'fight' with him, your eyes are extremely flirty."

"I am not sleeping with Louis," Harry pouts, opening his locker very dramatically. Willow continues walking, so that she stands behind him, watching as he arranges himself before arranging his locker. He sighs, stuffing his books into his locker, and pulling out the book that he had picked up from the library.

"Harry's sleeping with Louis?" Zayn asks, standing behind the locker door that Harry had just shut. Harry yelps in surprise, and then his gaze turns dark, sending an angry glance at Willow.

"No, I am not sleeping with Tomlinson," Harry whisper-yells, "Now hush." He turns from his friends, walking away from them sassily. He thinks he hears Zayn say, 'He is definitely sleeping with Louis,' but he is not completely sure. His friends rush to join him, and are close behind him by the time he quietly opens the library door.

The first thing he notices is Louis, laying on one of the couches, a book held above his face.

Harry glances back to his usual spot, all the way in the back of the library, and quickly decides against it. With a breath of confidence, Harry strides over to Louis. Louis lays his book across his chest, looking Harry up and down.
