And down the rabbit hole I go again with a relationship that has taken over my head. I can't for the life of me remember when I first started thinking of these three, but at some point I did, and then I never stopped. I know there are fans of each ship individually (Sevasey, Brettsey, and Sylveride), but this book is for all three combined: Sylverasey/Brettseyride, whether their relationship is established for the story, it is prior to the relationship but hinting at it for the future, it is developed during the shot, or if two are already together and integrate the third. It's all up in the air.
Of course, this is open to the readers to see what they would like! There are obviously a few plots of my own I've come up with and will write (including a few What Ifs? I may take from my big Sylverasey story that's a 9-1-1/Lone Star crossover called "Danger Zone"), but if there's also something you want to see, I'm up for the challenge of attempting to write it!
I just have a few ground rules:
- I really only got into Chicago Fire from the end of Season 7 onwards. Which basically means my knowledge of the show is limited prior to Season 7. I know most of what happens, but I can't remember the nitty gritty details of episodes or who dated who when, or when this person moved in with this person, etc. You can absolutely request something that goes back into the previous seasons, I just may need your help in figuring out a) what has already happened, and b) what would need changing especially if it occurs in an episode. The more details I have, the better I can do.
- I'm not an M-rated writer, so please no prompts that could lead to M-rated material. I can read M-rated material, but I can't write it for the life of me. I can imply when something is about to head in an M-rated direction, but that's probably where I would end that scene.
- If there is something you would absolutely certainly would like to see in a prompt, let me know. For example, if there's a character that you . . . well, let's just say you don't want me to be kind to, let me know. If there's another character (besides the three in the trio) you would like me to highlight, let me know. If there's a certain situation or a piece of dialogue you want someone to say, let me know. If you want it short and simple or long and elaborate, let me know. If you want a 5 + 1 type fic, let me know. If you want something canon or not, let me know. If you want a crossover with another show(s), let me know.
- I may not write prompts in order they are given to me. Inspiration hits when it hits, and if it means a prompt offered to me later is what gets me inspired to write, then that's most likely what I'll write.
- Please do not rush me. A golden rule for me is quality over quickness, so the more time I have to work on these, the better quality the readers will most likely get. I also work much faster if something is episode-oriented and I can have a script to work with. If it's completely original, I have to think of getting the characters correct: their moods, their dialogue, their emotions, their interactions with others, etc. Add in the fact that this is not the book that's my absolute priority, I do have other things to do with my life than just fanfiction. Just give me time.
- There is no limit on requesting. Whether you give me one prompt or three or five or ten or none at all, it doesn't matter to me.
- I make no promises on how well I may write pairings other than the main trio. Yeah, I know I usually say fanfiction = me throwing canon out the window, but if there's another relationship that is suggested that I don't know if I can write, I may let you know and ask if there's another pairing you would like instead. Options are nice.
I think those are all I can think of! So if there's something you want to see/read, either comment here or send me a private message.
