"Watch where you are going, wierdo"

I was happily chatting with my bestie about some stupid topic as we walked around the class, since the teacher had left and wasn't said to come back for ten minutes or so, when I bumped into Raksham, my arch Nemesis. I had absolutely no clue why he had a particular dislike for me (which was unfortunately shared with a few of the teachers) except the fact that I didn't have a 'normal' skin tone.

But aren't we all taught the fact that this is similar to colorism /racism?
I guess not all of us were.

I pulled him from his collar so he could reach my height, now nose to nose, I replied to him, "Watch where you are going, idiot"
Years of bullying surely makes you slightly impulsive for situations supposed to be handled calmly. He was going to punch me but I decked him in the jaw first. He groaned and scooted away to where he had been going with his hand over his mouth and eyes glaring at me.

The teacher soon entered the classroom after this incident and continued teaching us about The Curse of Medusa. Miss Sanchi was one of the few teachers who treated me like a normal kid (even though I was a freak, no matter how much I told myself that wasn't the case), thus making her subject, English, my favourite out of all classes.

Her name- Sanchi also belonged in the name of queen of the devtas, devis and all celestial beings like Apsaras, ,etc., the angels/gods of the heaven as you put it in English.

Our English textbook each year had a crazy amount mythological stories in it, mostly Greek and Hindu.
The last chapter done, The Gift of Pandora had left me traumatized but how Zeus had hanged Promethues just because he stole the fire for the humans.

She discussed the lesson on how Medusa looked and how she was treated. My mind, meanwhile, was showing me Medusa's picture in the most descriptive of all ways, and least to say I was horrified.

Afterwards, I was having lunch with Mia alone since no one wanted to sit with the 'wierd kids' we both were. Mia was the sweetest person, I thought I will ever meet at the time, with a cute and bubbly behavior to add on her goodness, meanwhile I was a gloomy and hard handed kid. My mother always compared Mia's work ethic with mine complaining I was very lazy in comparison to her. While, Mia said her mother compared her handwriting with mine and said that she, Mia had to improve, in the rest of the things we were exactly the same. We laughed about it alot.

Mia and I always walked hand in hand which was never a problem until, by the time we were thirteen, to make things worse, my skin had started to lose it's blue and turn into a vampirish pale hue as puberty kicked me. And the fact that we were now at a new school where most didn't knew I was blue.

People started assuming we both were dating and called us slurs, while the other half were on their way to propose me for some reason. It was as if my whole world was turned upside down, as if it were a wild roller coaster ride, not knowing that it was going down hill...
