A scorchingly burning sensation woke me up from my slumber. "What the actual fuck?", I choked up.
Nico di Angelo, sat beside me, definitely being the opposite of his surname. His eye bags purple with prominence, a permanent scowl and exhaustion looked even more uncanny at the present. No lights were around us, this seemed like an even darker part of Tartarus to which we had seemingly never been to.

"This was phlegathon's water", Nico answered my question matter-of-factly.

"This was fucking water? It seemed like fire to be honest", I said, calming down from my anger burst slightly.

"It is also known as fire water, it is fed to the beings going through torture to stay alive in order to suffer through more torture"

I looked at him blankly.

"Anyways, we are near the gates, one has to stay here and close them while the other should be on the other side to do so"

"But, for that one will have to stay in Tartarus, probably forever."

"Yes, that is why two people were necessary for this quest. I can't be able to do so alone."

"So I am going to stay back?", I whispered, realising that Nico was probably just using me the whole time for his own exit.

"No, dumbass, it will be me."

"B-but you will be stuck forever!"

"Shadow travel exists, Krishna"

"I really don't think you have mastered that yet, and you are still slightly weak from the giant attack so I don't trust leaving you alone"

"Then what other option do we have?"

"Good question, will come back to it later, but-"

"Stop, don't you dare charmspeak", he ordered, realising what I was going to do.

"Okay", I mumbled. Despite that, we continued arguing for the next fifteen minutes, until we heard a few murmers from some other place. At that we both mutually agreed upon hiding behind the huge boulder with Nico trying to know what kind of beasts were out there.  We heard sounds of thuds that may have been running for someone the size of a titan or giant, and it stopped as soon as the ringing similar to the crushing of a boulder resonated through our ears.

"Owie", we heard a familiarilly deep masculine voice, but to whom it belonged to, I couldn't place. "This seems like... Bob", whispered Nico.

"That's me, Bob, Bob, Bob", in front of us stood a large humanoid with Einstein like silvery hair and a janitor's costume replacing an armour with two muscular arms portruding from the edges. The titan seemed to be happy for hearing his name, which made me question how he even did that considering that Nico's voice was barely audible to me. "Bob has good ears", the creature said, seemingly noticing and trying to ease of my tension and making me catch up to the esctacy that we now had a capable titan by our side to save our asses, or help us save the world.

"So Bob, did lady Leto send you?", asked Nico.
"Yes, ghost king, she said Bob press the buttons to the lift and make Nico and Krishna exit"

One important detail about this guy. Y'all remember Percy? Nico's crush? Welp that dude faught Iapetus the titan of Mortality which led in the latter falling off into Lethe, the river of forgetfulness. And as the name suggests Iapetus forgot totally about himself and was given the new identity of Bob... the cleaner. And from being the bad guy, the Albert Einstein and Arnold Schwarzenegger combo became a good guy.

"So, what about the monsters here? Would you handle them too?"

"Leto said no monsters there"

"Then shit's gonna be hella easy, ain't it so Nico?"

"Well I hope so"
