Maybe drinking with Arthur was a bad thing. Because as soon as a hand shook River awake, the effects of the night before made her feel the pounding in her head ten times worse.

"Riv! Arthur! Up, now." Tommy's voice shook her into consciousness, the throbbing in her head causing the woman to lift her hand to it, rubbing it ever so slightly.

"Shut upppp." The woman groaned, huffing the fallen hair out of her face as she leaned back in her seat.

"Arthur, get home, get bathed, check your kit, check your weapons." Tommy listed off as the man jolted up from his sleep causing the woman to furrow her eyebrows as she glanced between the two men.

"Why? What's going on?" River whispered out, hitting Arthur who had kicked her as he stood up, "Prick."

"We're doing it today." Tommy announced as he pointed at the woman before nodding his head towards the door, motioning for her to follow him as he walked out of the pub. Groaning, River stood from her chair, pushing past Arthur as she smoothed yesterday's clothes down, rushing after the man who had already made his way down the street.

"You, River." The man started as he began to bang on Charlie's door, interrupting his own sentence as he called up to the man about the day's plans before continuing down the road, "You go to the bakery."

The woman stopped in the street, confusion swishing around her head as she tried to process the man's words through her hungover state. "What?"

Tommy huffed, stopping as well before turning to the woman. He took a step closer to her, his hand patting down her fuzzy hair as he spoke more softly, "You go to the bakery, make food and sweets and whatever you do so that when all this shit is done, we'll come back to eat."

River felt her cheeks flush in anger as she tugged herself away from the man, opening her mouth to protest when the man held up his hand continuing on.

"I'm not having you do this with us. This is Kimber. If you're there, he will use you." Tommy reached his hand to her cheek, cupping it as he brushed his thumb against her cheek, "I will not let you get hurt."

Rolling her eyes, River crossed her arms, continuing on down the road before she turned seeing Tommy still standing still just watching her.

"I'm not doing this for you!" She shouted causing Tommy to chuckle, nodding back at her, "I'm doing this for your brothers!"

"Alright, darling, whatever you think!" Tommy shouted back before turning towards the lane next to him, walking down it and out of her sight.
