1 - A new cookie has arrived!

"Hello Sunshine...Hello little sprouts....It's a good day to be living in this kingdom!" Herb cookie said as he woke up, yawning. As per his usual, he first started to water the plants that covered his entire house, it was a variety of flowers and ferns. An entire array that would be heaven to plant lovers like him. He didn't have to work at the cafe today, which made him feel extra happy. No work, no social interaction!

*bring bring* Herb cookie's phone rang, the sound made him panic and trip, making him fall. He was drenched in water head to toe. He was clearly frustrated and sad about it, he could no longer stay in his favourite pajamas and would have to change to another pair, not to mention that he was now a soggy cookie. He stared at his phone as it was still ringing and it was Vampire cookie calling him. He picked it up, hesitantly. "Hello, Herby. Took you awfully long to reply, hm?" Vampire cookie said, with his usual, condescending tone. "I'm sorry...the phone call scared me and- and I panicked and I-" Herb cookie rambled in anxiety. "Woah woah, hold up darling, I was just joking! I didn't mean to scare you. Anyways, a little birdie told me that there's a new cookie in town and they've set up a bar! I wonder if they sell grape juice!" It hadn't been too long since Herb cookie had moved into the kingdom as well. Almost all the cookies were extroverts, they were very friendly towards each other. Almost too friendly. In fact, much too friendly for his liking. "Ah ok, that's great..do you think I can gift them a flower? Or some kind of plant at least? But what if they don't like it..." Herb panicked, overthinking. "I'm sure it'll be fine, Herby. Anyways who'd turn down the beautiful plants that you tenderly care for?" Vampire cookie said reassuringly. Herb cookie calmed down, "A-Anyways...when are they moving in?" He asked. "Oh, they move in today!" "HUH?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER?! WHAT PLANT SHOULD I GIVE THEM? DO YOU THINK THEY LIKE SUNFLOWERS?" Herb cookie shouted in disarray. "Herby, calm down. I'll come over to help you choose, alright?" Vampire cookie didn't wait for a reply and hung up. Herb cookie was still soaking wet, one touch and he'd probably crumble. That's why he was sitting in the same spot as he was calling. Vampire cookie came over quickly and stared at the mess that became of Herb cookie. "Hey...are you like, okay? You might 'crrk!' — crumble you know..." Vampire cookie remarked worriedly. "...." Herb cookie's face flushed and stayed silent for a few seconds and finally replied "Can you just look around and find the best looking plant for the new cookie..." Herb cookie sighed, "No, I'm going to dry you first." Vampire huffed.

After a few minutes, Herb cookie was dry again, he took off his clothes and changed into another set of them. "Man Herby~ so slender." Vampire cookie said jokingly, Herb cookie didn't reply but was a bit embarrassed. "What time do you think they'll be in their house?....And, where is it?" Herb cookie asked. "Around 6:30pm? I think they live just around the corner from The Smithy near your house." Herb started panicking again. "IT'S 6:45PM VAMP!" Herb was in absolute sorrow. He didn't know what to do. "Oh, my. It really is." Vampire cookie looked at his phone. "Quick, let's book it, just take some random plant and give it to the newcomer, whatever is whatever." Vampire cookie rushed Herb cookie to grab a plant, which was just a yellow coloured rose that was on his bedside table. Vampire cookie and Herb cookie hurriedly headed to the new cookie's house.

When they had stepped inside the house, there were people surrounding a cookie. Perhaps it was the newcomer? Either way, Vampire cookie was intrigued and ran towards the crowd, leaving Herb cookie behind and unsure of what to do. Herb cookie started slowly walking towards where vampire cookie went as it was the first time in a while since he had attended a party. As he approached the crowd, he was frightened by the chattering and buzzing of the other cookies and anxiety hit him like a car. He headed to the corner of the room where the food and grape juice were. He didn't like loud noises and tried to get as far as he could from it and decided to hide under the table.
