(One Year Later)
Steve and I married in june of last year so I am now Faith Marie Rogers instead of Faith Quin, and I am the happiest that I have ever been.
I am laying in bed with Steve when my phone rings making me groan,
"Who is it?" Steve asked his voice gruff.
"Don't know." I said reaching over grabbing it seeing that it's Wanda.
"It's Wanda." I said.
"Wanda?" He asked turning the lamp on as I answer the phone.
"Hey what's up?" I asked sitting up.
"Uh...something bad happened in Leglos." Wanda said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"We're in trouble." Wanda said
"Why?" I asked getting out of bed.
"Darling?" Steve asked.
"The mission went wrong and people died because of me." Wanda said her voice cracking
"Is your brother with you?" I asked.
"Yes." Wanda said.
"Good, put him on the phone for me." I said.
"Okay, Pietro, mom wants to talk to you." Wanda said.
I stand in place frozen by the words that Wanda just said as I hear shuffling before Pietro starts talking.
"Hey mom, what's up?" Pietro asked.
"Uh, keep an eye on your sister for me, please and why are you guys calling me mom?" I asked gently.
"You basically are our mom, you treat us like we're your children." Pietro admitted.
"Oh okay, but keep an eye on your sister for me." I said.
"You got it." Pietro said.
"Bye talk to you soon." I said.
"Bye, love you mom." Pietro said before hanging up.
I crawl back into bed putting my phone back on the charger and get under the covers resting my head on Steve's bare chest falling back asleep
