5# Bonus chapter: Brandon and Boru

Boru's pov:

,,I can't!,, Voltiaere and Y/n both roll their eyes as she takes the letter from you. You both get more and more nervous as she reads it.

,,What does it say!?,, Brandon asked with his nerves just as shot as yours.

,,You two are eligible,, he says in a whisper you two just barely understood.

Y/n gasped and looked at the letter herself. ,,You two are eligible!,, she confirmed excited.

You take the piece of paper from her and read the confirmed eligibility. ,,We can have kids,, you say in disbelief. You look at him and he pulls you in a hug.

,,We're both going to be fathers! A- And I don't care if it's a werewolf or vampire. Whatever you want you we will get,, he kisses you and both him and Voltiaere rush to tell the entire nest.

,,I'll make sure they don't get into any trouble. You okay to be alone right now?,, you nod genuinely happy. ,,Congratulations, to the both of you,, she runs after the boys and you look at the letter as if it were too good to be true.

It's been a little over two years since you two got married, three and a half since Voltiaere's and Y/n's wedding. Even William, Nick and Selena could get married soon, if and when William finally figures out the "perfect proposal" plan. About five months after your wedding, Voltiaere and Y/n announced their second pregnancy, the first coming from the honeymoon. Even William managed to accidentally impregnate Selena just before your wedding and Nick three months later. That just left the two of you.

It made you think where you two stood. You both are male and you are not an omega like Nick, so conception is not an option. You didn't even think Brandon wanted kids. It stressed you out so much, that you two ended up in big fight. You two weren't talking to each other for multiple days, as your worst nightmare come true. It wasn't until Voltiaere's one year old brought you two of you together and you both realised the other was crying.

You both talked about it for a very long time and you were surprised at what Brandon said. He wanted kids also and even wanted to talk to you about it until you shut him out. He reassured you it's fine. After a month you both finally decided to contact a universal adoption agency. What you didn't know, that it would be a long and gruelling journey to be able to adopt a child. The past year and a half were an attempt to prove to the agency that you two would be fit to be fathers, with checks and lessons on childcare. Finally, you two got the letter that allowed you to have any creature as your child.

,,Hey, you okay?,, you look up to see Brandon back.

,,Yeah, just in shock I guess. After about month 4, I- I started to believe that they wouldn't...,, he pulls you in for a hug and kisses your forehead. ,,Especially since I'm this sensitive,, he chuckles.

,,It means you'll be a good father. You have all these sensitive emotions and if our child ever would be sad because of something, you'd know exactly how to react,, he says with a sigh.

You pull back and look at him. ,,You think you'll be a bad parent?,, him not answering was your confirmation. ,,Why though?,, he kisses you to avoid an, but you pull back again not letting him.

,,I didn't really have the best role models and I know Voltiaere turned out to be a good father, but I'm just scared something might go wrong,, you pick up the paper and show it to him.

,,It says in black on white right here that you are fit to be a parent. After 16 months the world finally decided that we are allowed to be parents, if it were otherwise then there would be proof. Brandon, we are going to have a child and you will be a great father. You will protect them, even if it involves disagreeing with me, which will be a huge mistake if you do. You will help them figure out their power and abilities. You'll-/,, his hand covers your mouth to shut you up.

,,Hold on, power and abilities? A vampire child?,, he questioned.

,,Yeah, I assumed it would be the typical decision. I....Is that a problem?,, you stuttered lightly, but he seemed to not catch it.

,,I just thought we would discuss this, since you're a werewolf and we have werewolf "children" in this house,, he did have a point, but you knew what you wanted.

,,I know, but I really don't want anything to do with my werewolf heritage. My father disowned me and the pack accuses me of kidnapping. The only love I have for werewolves is Nick and Selena. I want this child to be a vampire. I also talked to the agency a- and you turning me before we get the baby doesn't affect anything,, you mention.

,,So, you actually....?,, you nod and he has the same reaction from earlier.

Only this time the kiss was different. ,,Now?,, you scoff, but he nod. ,,Mhm, let's get you turned into a vampire,, you burst into full blown laughter and he carries you off.

11 Months later

,,You ready?,, you take a deep breath and nod. He takes your hand and kisses it ,,Let's go get our baby,,.
