It was a breezy night with a sky full of stars, the moon couldn't be seen, but it just made the stars stand out more. The two boys brought outside a blanket to sit on and they just admired the beautiful night sky, Gou has never seen stars so beautiful, they shined as never before, and Satoshi had millions of them in his eyes. Some of them were sparkles of joy, some of them were reflections of stars from far away, but the ones in Satoshi's eyes still seemed more reachable than the ones in the sky, although they were in fact just little reflections.

They sat in silence, at that moment, nothing needed to be said. Pikachu was resting on Satoshi's lap and rabifuto lied next to Goh. Both pokémon were already asleep. The silence was so peaceful and relaxing, occasionally only a small crack from bushes, splashing as water hit the surface of the nearby lake and sounds of cars' engines from the nearest town could be heard, but all that was part of the silence that occurred that place. People don't realize how scary a complete silence would be, all these small sounds are part of our lives.

It was quite dark, but since the stars shined so much that night, Gou saw a daisy nearby and he picked it. He tossed that daisy in his hand for a while and then decided to pick another and start making a small wreath from daisies. Well, it wasn't the best flower wreath, it looked like it's going to fall apart at any time, but it didn't matter. After that he hesitated a bit, but placed it on Satoshi's head. Satoshi looked up, astonished, and put on the biggest, most genuine smile Gou has ever seen. Gou was once again surprised by how cheerful and genuine he can be, but once he processed it, a big smile appeared on his face too.

Satoshi dropped himself on the blanket with a loud thud, arms spread out, but the wreath from daisies didn't fall off due to some miracle. It didn't even wake up pikachu, he kept happily dreaming. He put his hands under his head to make an improvised pillow, yawned and closed his eyes for a few seconds. The warm wind and the nature's lullaby made him sleepy, it wasn't a surprise at all since it was long past midnight. 

Gou followed him and lied on the soft blanket too. Rabifuto made almost no sound, but Gou knew he was there because rabifuto's fur was rubbing against his arm. Unlike Satoshi, Gou wasn't uncomfortable lying with no pillow, so he put his hands on his belly instead. He admired the beautiful starry sky

"You know, the stars...they make me feel so small. Every time we went to a new place together, I've seen so many new things, It almost made me feel like I've seen everything, but I was wrong. So terribly wrong."

"Looking at the night sky made me realize how much there is to explore."

"All the galaxies waiting to be discovered, the stars, all the secrets the universe keeps there..."

"Satoshi, will you reach the stars with me?"

No response. Gou took a glance at Satoshi. He was asleep and probably didn't hear anything from what he said. Gou sighed and looked deeply at the sky.

There are a millions of stars above our heads, same as there are millions of people in the world.

Still, they both appeared to be in the same place, at the same time.

What a coincidence...
