"What do you intend to do once you find this alleged Sun Summoner?" Elouise asked her brother. He didn't respond but had a slightly wicked smirk plastered over his face.

"And why should I tell you my plans Elouise?" He played.

"You tell me everything Aleksandar! I think I have a right to know." She pouted only making him grin wider. He merely walked out of the room not sparing a glance at her but chuckling to himself.

As she walked out of the map room, she was pulled in the opposite direction to where she was walking and was met with a crimson red kefta

"Genya wants to see you." Ivan said sternly.

"Couldn't you have been a little more calm about it?" Elouise sighed, putting out the velvety white spark of electricity from her hand. Ivan stepped back letting her pass. "Saints, someone isn't having a good day." She muttered under her breath whilst walking passed the heartrender

"Know your place Aidar."

She'd never liked Ivan. He was way too miserable and boring for the girl. Never a hint of joy in his life.

"Alright you two, that's enough." Aleksandar intervened. Elouise shoved past him and walked off to find Genya, which didn't take long. She was over by the Materialki Lab

"Stop staring at David. He's probably terrified of you by now." Elouise smirked as she snuck up behind her friend.

"I'm not staring, I'm observing, there's a big difference." Genya glared

"Anyway, What did you want to see me about?"

"It's The Winter Fete next week and I need to know what I'm doing about this." Genya pointed to Elouise.

"Thanks Genya." Elouise said sarcastically. "I'm not sure? Maybe curl the hair, some blush and darker eyelashes?" She suggested.

"If that's what you want."

"Thanks Genya! I'll see you later." Elouise's footsteps echoed around the silent room which caused a lot of hushing from the Durasts and Alkemi.

Elouise never really had anything to do around The Little Palace. Ever since Nikolai left she's been on the verge of going mental. She headed outside so she could test out her powers and found a secluded area where no other Grisha were around.

Elouise wasn't like the other Grisha. She was special like The Darkling, who didn't need anything to spark his powers, for he was a human amplifier. She not only had the same ability but this helped  to enhance her own powers to their fullest.

Sparks of electricity danced from hand to hand in an elegant fashion. Radiant white with a hint of sapphire illuminated her face as she focused all her attention to the strobes of lightning. She tossed a ball of electricity from hand to hand until she created a small, dusk cloud in the other. As it grew she merged them together which created a roaring, thunderous crack before letting both parts fade between her fingertips.

After a while of waiting for anything interesting to happen, Elouise wandered aimlessly around the generous grounds that she was so lucky to call her home.

Pacing along the corridors and stairs in a bored manor, she found The Darkling looking for the girl.

"Ah, there you are. We are headed to Kribirsk and we leave in an hour.

"Wait. What's going on?" She stammered.

"We've found our Sun Summoner."
