This is it this is my redemption. Gazing at the Avengers tower reminded me of home, damn I missed this place. This is the place I grew up in which I'm surprised it still looks new, given that it's almost as old as the Empire State Building. The memories of discovery and badass training come flooding back, I mean what can I say it's home. Finally, I walked in.

"Hello miss may I have your name please? " The receptionist asks whilst typing away on her computer.
"Seriously Jules, you don't don't recognize me, damn I guess I've been gone awhile." She stops typing turning towards me. A few seconds felt like years then her warm smile finally made an appearance.
"Oh my god! Y/n is that really you!"
"Hell yeah" she struggles to get around the desk then managed to run to you in her stiletto heels to give you her iconic bear hug.
"Awwww I missed you bestie where where you" she pulls away from the hug. Finally I can breath.
"Ahh you know...places." I say letting out a soft chuckle.
"Mhm sure totally not sleeping with some hot Paris models."
" Oh my god Jules that was one time."
"One time I won't make you forget." She laughs a little more, "anyways why are you here." Ahh the question I've been avoiding this entire time. Lie to her y/n.
"Oh, well you know, here to see Tony go on a few more missions. To be honest, I missed the rush."

Damn it, she won't believe that. "Just a rush" that's so vague. I bet you she can see right through me.

She looks at me unimpressed.
"Mhm, well I shouldn't keep you for too long wouldn't want Tony to get mad for me keeping you here. He's on the 16th floor. Oh and have fun meeting our new recruits to the team." She winked at me like I'm in for a treat. Like what the hell was that about. New recruit? How many chapters did I miss? Am I being replaced? I asked myself heading towards the elevator. Just as the doors were about to close a young, almost post puberty, voice called out to me.

"Wait keep that open please" I stuck my hand out the closing elevator doors triggering the sensors to keep it open. A teenaged boy walked through with a backpack on one shoulder and a tray of drinks in one hand. Aww what is this back to school day.
"Thank you." He said with a sigh of relief then rested his head on the wall of the elevator.
"What floor?"
"Uh the 16th please."I didn't even hesitate to look for the button.
"I'm already going there." I said with a soft smile. He smiled back. The elevator ride was silent, awkwardly silent.

"So you're y/n right?" The boy said breaking the silence. Finally.
"Yes, how do you know who I am?"
"Im Peter Parker, Mr. Stark's inter. He's been talking about you all week. He said that you're coming to stay with us for a little bit, and you'll be joining the team."
"Huh, interesting." I was about to ask him to elaborate why but the elevator doors opened then I saw him.
