My Saving Grace

Show Me You Love Me: Part 2

Ben stood in the mirror that Miranda made him get for his bedroom checking himself to make sure that he looked good. Even though most of the time they slept in her room he still used his room for getting dressed which made things convenient. He'd told Miranda that he wanted their first time making love to be after a super romantic evening but he was nervous. He knew it would be easy to impress her because she wasn't use to and didn't care for "romancey things" but he still wanted it to be just as amazing for her.

Ben drove to the hospital because she was getting ready there after she finished her shift. He nervously walked to the attendings lounge knowing that's where she was because they had a nicer bathroom and as chief resident and because she is "Bailey" she already had special privileges. When he walked in he was stopped by the beauty that was Miranda standing in the mirror. She saw him staring at her and turned around smiling. She wore a emerald silk dress that was spaghetti strapped and hugged her body perfectly with black strap heels.

"Miranda you look amazing....are you ready?" Ben asked clearing his throat and still checking her out.

"Thank you, I am and you look very handsome yourself," Miranda complimented him before kissing his cheek.

They walked hand in hand out of the hospital to the car where he helped her get in. Ben drove for 15 minutes before arriving at a closed restaurant. Miranda looked around a little confused, "Ben it's closed," Miranda stated.

Ben got out of the car and opened her door, "Come on," he said with a smirk on his face.

When Ben opened the door to the restaurant the room was lit up with candles and bouquets of roses everywhere. There was a table prepared in the middle of all the others with wine and two plates waiting as well as a jazz band setup on the small stage smiling at them. Ben pulled out Miranda's chair and then kissed her cheek and handed her a single rose making Miranda blush. 

A waiter came and poured the wine for them and uncovered the food. They were having steak, broccoli, baked Mac and cheese with rolls. As they started to eat the band began to play and Miranda smiled big as she just looked at Ben.

"This is....amazing I've never....you did all this for our first date?" Miranda inquired.

"I'm willing to do anything for you Miranda," Ben said holding his wine glass up so that they could toast.

They talked and laughed about everything as they ate their food and listened to the music. Once they were done eating Ben got up and stood in front of Miranda. "Will you do me the honor of having this dance?" Ben asked Miranda with his hand outstretched.

Miranda smiled and whispered yes as she took his hand and he lead her to the middle of the floor.  Miranda wrapped her arm under his arm and held his hand while he placed his hand by the small of her back and they slow danced. The saxophonist was playing "With You" by Tony Terry and Miranda closed her eyes as she laid her head against Ben's chest and listened to the music play.

When I'm with you, I wonder why people do stop and stare and smile at us.

"Are you enjoying yourself Miranda?" Ben asked with his deep voice that made her shiver.

She looked up and smiled, "I'm enjoying every moment of this, thank you so much for caring enough to do this," Miranda said.'

Ben kissed her lips softly then deeply and Miranda wrapped her arms around his neck relaxing into their kiss. Miranda whimpered as Ben sucked on her tongue and gripped her booty as they  kissed passionately.

Ben separated their lips and looked at Miranda intently, "Miranda I love you with everything in me and if you'll let me I'll do any and everything I can for you because you mean that much to me and you deserve it," Ben professed.
