UNEXPECTED ENDINGS

Story 12: UBER

It was independence day. I visited my uncle's college where he was professor. Today I was been choosen as chief guest of the college. It's really amazing to be choosen as chief guest at such young age. I was the only girl to get qualified cet exams this year. I was preparing for my speech as it was my first time and I really don't have any idea about what to say.

At 12 pm I reached my uncle's college. Everyone were bit angry on me as I was late myself been a chief guest. But chief guest is the most important person of the event hence I was relaxed that no one will get mad on me. Finally ceremony started. I hoist the flag. We gave a salute to our flag and sang our national anthem. It was very proud moment for me.

Now it was all over. I was no more a chief guest. Yes I was respectfully waved a good bye, but now I was again back to my normal life, where I have to face my problems on my own. I decided to visit my sister's house for a while.

It is fun visiting your sister once a year. Remembering all your memories, chatting about your present life. I didn't gave attention towards time. It was 7:30 pm now. But my aunt forced me to have dinner with her. I was not able to say no to her. After dinner we discussed on the mysterious murder happening on the street. My aunt told me that the road I am choosing to go home is really dangerous this time. She advised me too stay for a night and leave by tomorrow. But I was not eagerly ready for it. I have to complete my assignments yet. I wave goodbye to them and left for my home.

She was true. There was not a single sign of  person on the street. No cars no police officer, nothing. Being alone girl on street I was bit scared but I am brave enough to face anyone. I decided to book a cab,as it was not safe to walk alone on the remotest street.

It was 10 pm now. I was waiting for my cab from 15 minutes. Suddenly I saw a cab coming straight towards. I was very happy to see it. I was about to open the door but it already opened automatically. I was shock seeing it but still I sat inside.
"Thanks for your immediate help"
"Everything is fine ma'am "
"Can you tell me how the door got open automatically?"
"Everything is fine ma'am "
I was bit scared hearing his answers. As he was not so talkative. I was checking messages through my mobile. Suddenly one message made me freak out.
"MAAM YOUR UBER CAB HAS REACHED ON THE SPOT. WHERE ARE YOU?"
Suddenly I heard spooky voice from driver's seat.
"Everything is fine ma'ammmm....."
