Untitled Part 3

CHAPTER 3

Harry woke up the next morning wondering where he was. Then he remembered what happened. Sirius wasn't in his bed anymore, so the boy got up and went down to the kitchen. He saw the members of the Order at the table. There were Ron and Hermione too. He knocked to let the others know that he was there. As soon as Molly saw him, she screamed.

"Harry! What's on your face?"

Harry touched his face and felt something warm on his hand. He realized it was blood. There were lots of cuts on his face.

"I don't know… I just woke up bleeding…"

Remus got up.

"Come with me." He said.

He took Harry in the bathroom and washed his blood away.

"Harry, are you really sure you don't know what happened?"

"Yes! I woke up and I didn't even know I was bleeding until Molly told me!"

"Does that hurt?"

"No… well, if you touch it yes, of course."

He panted.

"Remus… what's happening?"

"I wish I know…"

Remus saw the look on Harry's face and smiled.

"Don't worry, we'll ask Dumbledore. He'll find something. Now come down with us, we have to talk about the situation."

When they both sat at the table, Sirius began to speak…

"Harry… you should read this…"

Harry took the piece of the Daily Prophet and began to read it… it said another version of what happened in Umbridge's office: according to the newspaper, Sirius was going to kill the DADA teacher and Remus used the Cruciatus Curse on Malfoy.

"So now you and Remus are wanted, while I am, if this is possible, more criminal… not mentioning that Ron and Hermione can't return to Hogwarts, and Ginny is coming here today." Said Sirius.

"What do we do?"

"You'll stay here, of course, the whole summer. You can't get out because both the Death Eaters and the Ministry are searching you. We hope it'll be better next year and you can return to Hogwarts in September." Said Molly. Sirius had a smile on his face. Harry knew that he was happy about that.

'Maybe now we'll be a proper family' thought Harry. He was happy he was going to live with Sirius. And Remus, of course. And Ron and Hermione and the Weasley. But he also thought of the life of the others. Mr. Weasley probably was going to miss his job, and so Bill… because of him. Sirius caught those thoughts, because he said:

"And now, what about having breakfast?"

Soon Molly came from the kitchen with food. Everyone was having a great time, but Harry. Remus and Sirius noticed this and looked worried. The boy didn't speak and didn't eat too. He just stood there with a spoon in his hand, looking into his plate. Suddenly, he felt a protecting arm over his shoulders and saw it was Remus'.

"Follow me and Sirius upstairs." He said. Harry nodded and got up. He went to Sirius and Remus' room and he sat on the bed.

"You're worried, aren't you?" Sirius said.

"Yeah… well, you know, Arthur and Bill going to lose their job and Remus is now wanted, so now he can't go out just like Sirius… and it's my entire fault!"

"No, it's not."

"Yes, Sirius, it is! If I studied Occlumancy, I'd never had that vision about you and this wouldn't have happened…"

"Harry, history isn't made of 'if'. It just happened. And, at least, you won't be with Umbridge anymore. And I'm happy I'm not going out anymore, because everyone thinks I'm a monster." Remus sat near him and Harry rested his head on his shoulder. "Now just enjoy your summer here. It's the first summer you don't pass at Dursley's, you should be happy."

Harry realized this.

"Hey, you're right! This'll be the best summer I've ever had!"

Both Remus and Sirius smiled.

"Now I've got a question for you." Said Harry. "How did you know I was in danger?"

"Snivellus." Replied Sirius with a grin.

"Really?"

"Yes. He did something useful for the humanity, once in his life. Now get up, Harry. This house is not fully repaired and clean yet and you have to help us."
