CHAPTER 18

The next day Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny had to return to Hogwarts. Sirius hugged his godson tight.

"Write to me if you know anything."

"Goodbye Sirius."

"We're seeing each other this summer, aren't we?"

"Of course we are! I'm not going back to Dursley's."

Sirius laughed.

"Bye, you brave boy. If you want to meet me, just ask. Padfoot will be with you."

After seeing his godson go, Sirius went looking for Remus and Dora. He saw Dora on the couch.

"Hey, Tonks."

"Hi, Sirius."

"News?"

"Remus wants to leave me."

"I know. He says it's for your safety and stuffs. Don't believe him, stay strong."

"I really like him and I really want him to be my husband. I don't care what I'll have to go through."

"He knows this. But try to understand him. His life was never easy."

Sirius hugged Tonks tight.

"Thanks, Siri."

"You're welcome. Now I think I'll go talking to him."

"What will you say to him?"

"That he's a very stupid bastard."

Dora laughed while Sirius went away. He thought he would have found him in his room, but he wasn't there.

"Remus?" he called. He heard a strange sound coming from Dora's room. He got in and what he saw destroyed him. Remus was crying on Tonks' pillow, smelling it.

"Remus!"

Remus looked up and saw him.

"Why me, Sirius? Why me, I love her and I can't stay with her! Why me?"

Sirius hugged his best friend while he was sobbing on his shoulder.

"It's ok, Remus, you don't have to leave her. You know this."

"SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! I'M TIRED SICK OF THIS SHIT!"

Sirius froze. Remus never swore, never screamed and never burst like this.

"Calm down, mate, calm down."

"NO! I'M NOT GOING TO CALM DOWN I JUST CAN'T! STOP SAYING ME THAT I'M NORMAL BECAUSE I'M NOT AND WE KNOW IT! EVERYONE KNOWS IT! DON'T PRETEND I'M NORMAL WHEN ONCE A MONTH I TURN INTO A MONSTER AND..."

"REMUS JOHN LUPIN CALM THE FUCK DOWN!"

Remus looked at Sirius with scared eyes.

"Listen, mate, the ministry could be evil and stupid but you are not, and so don't the fuck say these things! I'm your best friend because you are who you are and Dora loves you too because of this! I couldn't want anyone else as a friend and so does Dora! She loves you and you love her, the only one that's complicating things is you!"

"But she'll be an outcast just like me!"

"She knows and she doesn't care! She's Tonks, bloody hell, not Narcissa!"

Remus sat down on the bed.

"Go to her, Remus, kiss her and let her comfort you. You're too busy feeling sorry for yourself."

Remus got up and walked out without looking at him. Sirius saw him heading downstairs, wiping his tears away.

"Dora?"

Tonks saw him and all she did was hug him. Remus buried his face in her neck.

Sirius smiled.

"Come on, Remus, you're the best." He whispered.
