It was Sunday morning and Kendal woke up to find that she wasn't in her room. She was in a hotel, she looked over at Luke who was fast asleep next to her, he looked so cute when he slept.

She sat up and checked her phone. It was 11am and she was supposed to be having dinner with her family today.

"Shit" she thought she whispered so she wouldn't waken Luke. She was wrong.

He started opening his eyes and half smiled at her.

"What's wrong babe?" he said in a tired yet very sexy morning voice.

"It's 11am and I'm supposed to be having dinner with my family today, they do this every Sunday" she panicked.

Luke got out of bed and put his clothes on and ordered Kendal to get up, get her things together and meet him in the lobby in 10 minutes.

"Okay, get yourself together and meet me in the lobby in 10 minutes, I'll go find us some food then check us out" he kissed her cheek then walked out the room.

10 minutes Kendal was ready and headed down to the lobby, where Luke was leaning up against a wall and had his eyes closed. She went over to him and tapped his shoulder.

He opened his eyes and smiled, he handed her a muffin and some coffee, they sat in the lobby and ate their muffins and drank their coffee.

Luke must of already checked them out because once they were finished, Luke marched out of the hotel with Kendal trailing tiredly behind him.

They got in the car and Luke turned the radio on then held Kendal's hand while he drived. They headed down the freeway and into LA.

"It's me" Kendal called out to her family when they arrived at 4pm. She shut the door behind her and Luke as they stepped into the huge house her parents had as her dad was a boss at a pretty big law firm.

Her mom came running out of the kitchen with her hair tied up and wearing a pink apron. She hugged Kendal tightly.

"Mom, this is my boyfriend...Luke" she said once her mom had pulled away.

"It's nice to meet you, oh my you're very handsome" she giggled, leaving Luke bright red.

"Mom!" Kendal snapped as her mom giggled her way to the kitchen, Kendal grabbed Luke's hand and followed her mom into the kitchen.

She took a seat on the island and chatted away to her mom while Luke helped her chop some vegetables.

"Where's dad and Kyle?" Kendal asked her mom curiously.

"Well your dad is out of town, and your brother is out with one of his many girlfriends" she smiled, "so it will just be the three of us for dinner tonight, if that's okay" Florence (her mom) then asked.

Luke and Kendal nodded in agreement.

A few hours later, the said goodbyye to Florence and climbed back into the car.

"Your mum's so nice" Luke smiled then kissed Kendal's cheek.

They decided to go back to the hotel for another night so they could go back to the beach without having to worry about the long drive back to LA. They stopped at Kendal's apartment so she could pack a bag then drove back to the hotel.

Once they were checked in and dumped their stuff at the hotel, they were driving back to the beach.

Windows down, music up, wind blowing through there hair. Everything was perfect, they couldn't stop smiling.

Once they arrived at the beach, Luke laid down a blanket for them to lay on, they cuddled up together and gazed into the stars.

It was getting pretty late so they drove back to the hotel. The first thing Luke did was hook his laptop up to the tv and ordered room service while Kendal got her pjs on.

They cuddled up in bed, watched netflix and ate food, until they fell asleep togther, properly this time.

It was Monday morning and Luke was taking Kendal out for the day for a pre-birthday treat, as tomorrow was her actual birthday and they would be going to her parents house for a party.

They arrived at a restaurant in LA and were seated pretty quickly for such an expensive place. She didn't understand how Luke could afford this, but didn't dare ask him.

Once they were seated Kendal ordered a salad and iced tea. Luke ordered a hamburger with fries and iced cola.

"Excited to be 18 tomorrow?" Luke smiled.

"Yeah I guess" she sighed and shrugged her shoulders.

"What's wrong?" Luke asked with concern.

"It's just I'll finally be caught up with my friends and they'll be expecting me to go out to clubs and bars with them" she sighed and showed him the fake ID Amber had got her a couple of weeks ago.

Luke gave her a reasuring smile and grabbed her hand from across the table.

After lunch was over, Luke took Kendal to a nearby mall and bought her 6 bags full of clothes, shoes and accesories. "How could he afford all this?" she thought to herself.

She wouldn't stop thanking him and he understood why of course.

They drove back to Kendal's place were Luke spent the night.

He lay awake that night thinking, when should he tell her his secret, he decided he'd wait til Wednesday when Kendal was going to stay at his place.
