Chapter 21

"... Umm... May I help you?" said Saira.
The two mysterious figures showed their ID card to Saira and introduced themselves.
" Hello, I'm Yukari an agent from the national security and this is my partner Souji. We would like to have a little bit of your moment. Would you please come with us?" Said Yukari.
Saira felt strange no matter how much she thought there is no way that she has any relation to them or was involved in any illegal activity.
While Saira hesitated Tadame came out.
" What's wrong? , Saira-Chan" asked Tadame.
When Saira was about to answer Mark came out. When he saw Yukari he recognized them right away. Mark hurried to the door and blocked Saira. Saira was surprised at Mark's reaction when he saw them. He blocked her as he was protecting her from them. Saira couldn't understand, why he would do that and they are from the national security so there is nothing to fear or protect as she did not do anything illegal or have done anything wrong.
" Tadame-San, I will handle this. You may go inside, Saira, please go inside too," said Mark.
Tadame told Mark that if they are acquainted then they may come and talk inside, however, Mark rejected the idea politely.
Taiyo then came and told Mark that it's ok to talk in his office room privately if he wants to.
" Then we would be so thankful." Said Yukari.
Yukari and Souji came in, then Taiyo led them to the Office. When both agents realized that only Mark is in the office, they asked about Saira.
" Didn't I tell you that I'll figure things out? Just give me some time," said Mark.
" You know very well that there is no person except her who is suitable for this case, very suitable. And as long as she is her daughter, there is no way that she won't be involved no matter what you did," said Yukari.
" And we said before that no matter what we will do our best to protect her," said Souji.
" Please, she is still young and this case is so dangerous. I will do my utmost best to help you." Pleaded Mark.
After so much discussion and thinking the agents decided to try Mark's way for now, however, if they did not get any results then there is only one way.
The agents and Mark went out of the office. The agents thanked Tadame and Taiyo politely and went on their way.
" So, I guess this is the work which will make you stay for a long term huh. It's hard to deal with national security, after all, some of them care only about the results and nothing else. But it seems to me that both of them could be somewhat reasonable" said Taiyo.
Mark didn't say anything and stayed quiet, then he turned to Saira and asked her if she would like to sleep over at his place as he has something to tell her.
Before she answers she turned to Tadame and Taiyo. Tadame was worried and hesitant, they indeed are relative but she felt that it's improper to let both of them stay alone together. No, Tadame was worried that some neighbors or anyone would talk bad about Saira and spread false rumors, and hurt Saira's reputation and feelings. Tadame did not care if people would talk about her but she couldn't and won't stand if people would start talking about Saira. Tadame, cared about Saira's feelings more than anything, especially because of her parent's issue and her being alone and lonely. " hmmm... Well, I will let mama decide," said Taiyo and left to the leaving room to sip his tea. Taiyo noticed that his wife was worried and concerned so he wanted for her to decide and make up her mind to put her at ease.
Tadame sighed faintly then turned to Saira and asked her whether she would like to go. Though it felt kind of weird to ask this question because surely Saira wanted to go. Tadame wanted to respect Saira's wishes and let her decide.
Saira sensed Tadame's concern for her and was alert to what Tadam was worried about.
"Well... If you don't mind may Usagi comes with me?" asked Saira and then she turned to Mark to see if he minds. Mark smiled to hear as to let her do what she feels comfortable with.
Tadame told Saira that she doesn't mind at all however she thinks that Usagi will give Mark a hard time and besides that, she is planning to talk some sense to her since she ran away from her scolding and all. Therefore, Tadame asked Mark whether it's alright to let Katashi go with them.
Mark did not mind and told Tadame that it's all right since he has extra rooms.

When they arrived at Mark's luxurious apartment, it was indeed luxurious. 3 bedrooms, big bathrooms and kitchen, a pool, indoor garden, fitness room, cinema room and...etc
Mark showed Saira and Katashi their rooms. After refreshing themselves and putting on their comfortable attire, Katashi just stayed in his room reading his book while Saira went to search for Mark. She wanted to know why did he react so dramatically back there when he saw the agents and what's going on. Saira looked at him in the living room and his study room/ office but he wasn't there, therefore, she knocked on his bedroom's door. Once Mark opened the door "Mind to talk? " asked Saira. "Ah, I was going to look for you just now" " where would you like to talk ?" said Mark.
" anywhere is fine to me," said Saira.
Mark and Saira moved to the indoor garden downstairs. Mark prepared some of Saira's favorite sweet snacks and drinks back when she was young. "Here, your favorites," said Mark.
"Oh... I don't snack at night..." said Saira as she saw lots of sweet snacks and drinks.
"Is that so?" said Mark looking kind of embarrassed. "... But I guess once in a while won't hurt." Said Saira while picking the watermelon juice.
" yes, go ahead." Said Mark looking relieved.
"... Thank you for preparing all of this for me but isn't it so much?" said Saira. " Well, it's because we will talk a lot tonight," said Mark.
" As long as I could remember, you are not the type who would talk a lot and chit chat," said Saira.
"That's true, but we have missed a lot so I would love to talk to you after a long time," said Mark with a warm-hearted smile.
"... That's fine by me but... To let you know that I don't snack at night anymore and those sweet snacks are not my favorite anymore," said Saira.
" Then what do you like?" asked Mark.
" I would prefer to eat fruits at night as snacks or fresh juices, warm plant-based milk or something nutritious and filling but at the same time light and low calories," said Saira.
".... How come that I feel like I'm talking to your mother? Are you perhaps modeling or something?" said Mark.
" Nop," said Saira.  "Hmm then you're doing it for your crush?" said Mark with a grin on his face. " It's for me! " said Saira while blushing.
" then what about ice creams?" asked Mark
" Well, if it's gluten-free, healthy, or low calories then it's fine," said Saira with a beaming face.
" So ice cream is still your favorite and the only sweet that you can not let go, huh. Nothing changed," said Mark while laughing.
" It's not the same! Though... It's indeed the only sweet that I can not let go of." said Saira while feeling embarrassed.
Saira wondered what the heck is she doing and talking about.
" It's ok as long as you are happy," said Mark while giggling.
" ah right, Where is Katashi is he not done yet?" asked Mark.
" At this time he won't go out of his room he would just be stuck in there and read his book and look at any jewelry magazine collections," said Saira.
" oooh a woman who knows her man," said Mark while giving Saira thumps up teasingly.
" What are you saying! It's just a fact! A fact! And it's normal because we are living in the same house so there is nothing I can't do but notice! Ok." said Saira looking all embarrassed and blushing.
Mark laughed hard and told Saira to cool down.
" Anyway explain yourself, Prince Mark," said Saira.
" Explain what? And don't call me prince Mark. It's embarrassing." said Mark.
" You know, your actions and reactions," said Saira.
" What are you referring to?" said Mark while grabbing his cold nonalcoholic beer looking nervous.
" You know what I mean don't act like a dump in front of me." Said Saira.
"... I don't where to start..." said Mark.
Saira let out a sigh and took a sip from her watermelon juice.
" ... I'll answer you but first you should answer my questions first," said Mark.
" But I asked first," said Saira.
" Well, I have the right to ask too as I'm the eldest and as a lawyer." Said, Mark.
" Oh, so now you are switched to Lawyer Mark, huh." Said Saira.
" By the way congratulations," said Mark
" About what??" asked Saira. " Your beauty mark (mole) reappeared again," said Mark.
"What do you mean reappeared again?! It was there from the beginning," said Saira.
" But when you got overweight it vanished," said Mark teasingly.
" It did not vanish...it just... Became unnoticed," said Saira frustrated by Mark's remarks.
Mark giggled at how frustrated Saira felt and how she reacted.
"... Anyway, tell me what are your future plans?" asked Mark.
"..." Saira didn't say anything just kept drinking her juice with a distracted and absent mind.
"... So it's modeling and acting, huh," said Mark.
Saira turned her eyes to Mark silently.
"... You know since you were small your eyes always shined whenever you see magazines and open TV. Other children would normally watch animations or kids series but you watched dramas and movies," said Mark while turning to Saira.
"... Well, isn't it like that for all the girls?" said Saira while avoiding eye contact.
" It's true if it's right now, I'm talking about when you were younger... Well, I think you don't have to hid this fact anymore. I mean it's normal for you to get interested in those fields since your parents are working passionately in them. I don't see anything wrong... What I want to say is that I'm supporting you if anything." said, Mark.
" ... Thank you..." said Saira shyly.
Mark told Saira that she could start right away or anytime she likes and finds it convenient. He also asked her if she would like to speed her education. Saira looked at Mark strangely she wondered why would she speed her education. And when Mark said that simply because she is smart and it would help her to focus on her work later on and enjoy it, he also did not leave the fact that she could graduate at the same time as Katashi. Saira blushed and avoided his eyes completely and kept drinking from her cup of juice though it was already empty.
