ACE'S BDAY

Ace got home from school and was expecting a bone-crushing hug from his younger brother. Strangely, his brother didn't come running towards him. The house was awfully quiet which he didn't like

"Luffy! Sabo! Are you home?" He yelled as he placed his shoe on the shoe rack

Still, no response until he heard something fall from the living room. He instantly grabbed a baseball bat and went to the living room

The lights were off making his visibility zero. When he turned the light on, he was immediately greeted with party poppers and a cherry 'happy birthday!'

"What the?"

"Happy birthday Ace!" Luffy embraced him and he laughed

"I forgot my birthday is today"

"Since when did you became a grandpa?" Sabo mocked him

"Come on, Ace! Blow the candles!" His younger brother urged him and he obliged

"Luffy made it himself" Sanji informed him

"Really?" He asked surprised

"Yep! Now let's eat!"

They all sat down on the couch and ate. The room was full of laughter and chatter. Ace saw how his younger brother was having fun with that moss-head

"Luffy, there's food on your chin-" He was cut off when the green-haired man took and eat it

"Wha-!? Did you see what that asshole did to Luffy?" He asked Sabo

"Yeah. What's wrong with that?"

"Sabo! I can't believe you trust that man" he eyed the moss head like he was about to kill him. Zoro noticed this and sweatdropped

"Time for gifts!" Chopper yelled excitedly

"Here's mine!" Chopper handed him a box full of vitamins

"Vitamins?"

"Yes, because you always sleep late"

"Thank you, Chopper"

Nami gifted him skincare products and Robin gave him books.

"Why are you gifting me a tuxedo?" He asked Sanji

"Because your clothes are lame when you attend a party"

"How rude but thanks!"

Franky gave him a drone, Usopp gave him a fishing rod and Brook gifted him a ps4.

"Give your gift to him now, Zoro"

"Uh- sure" he gifted him a new pair of shoes

"Thank you, Zoro" he smiled sweetly while glaring daggers at him

"No problem" he swallowed nervously while his friends snickered at him

"My turn" Sabo handed him an orange hat with a smile and sad face

"Thanks, Sabo"

"What's your gift for me, Luffy?"

"Myself!" He extended his arms inviting him with a hug

He instantly dove in for a hug while crying saying how cute his brother is

"We're heading to the backyard, Ace!" Sabo informed him and everyone went outside

"Why?"

"There's a meteor shower today"

They all went outside and sat on the grass waiting for the meteor shower

"Look! It's starting!" Nami said

Everyone went quiet and admired the scene. Zoro glanced sideways and he smiled softly at the other who was in awe at the show in the sky

Luffy noticed him and tilted his head in confusion

"What's wrong, Zoro?"

"Nothing"

"I see" he chuckled and rested his head on his shoulder as he continued looking at the stars

Zoro smiled in content as he rested his head on top of his. Ace saw all of it and sighed in defeat

"I guess I can't do anything when it comes to love, huh?" He mumbled to himself

He gave them a minute and then called Luffy

"There goes my moment" the other sighed

"Don't worry. He'll talk to you after his talk with his younger brother"

"Huh?"

"Spill the tea, Sabo" Nami said

"Just wait and see. He's nervous so he's talking about random stuff with Luffy right now to calm him down"

"Why is he nervous?" Zoro asked

"Ah! I get it" Sanji smiled

"Ace is gonna you know" Sanji gave them all a look and they understood the hint

"Good luck!" Everyone cheered for him while was still confuse
