“Higher!” my brother shouted from below.

“This?!” I adjusted the frame on the wall.

“Up!”

“Why do we have to do these things, doing overtime and getting paid of a low salary,” I murmurred as I kept on settling the frame.

“They’re the authority, Keil.” I snapped to him and frowned. “We can’t change that.”

“What if I change that?”

“No can do.”

“Whatever it is, I’ll finish my studies at all cost,” I said and held my gaze to the frame I was griping. “This?!”

“Alright.”

I sat to the table I was standing before. “My words are fixed.”
