I woke up the next morning in almost a veiled confusion. The smell from last night still lingered in my nostrils and it made me happy to remember what had happened.

But oddly, this is not all that consumed my mind. Something was... Off. I looked around the room, standing in its center and nothing was directly wrong about the scene. Then I noticed Amy had left the room. "Weird..." I thought. Normally she would leave a note or something if she left but I couldn't find one.... Strange.

Then I noticed something else. A different smell took a mild presence in the room... A foreign smell, not like mine or hers. I sniffed the room briefly. Something else was in here! I could smell the main focus of it, right next to Amy's side of the bed. The smell was so strong there it must have been there for hours, just watching... Panic started to set in and I began to remember how it was the last time I found her missing... I couldn't let it happen again! I began to take notice of something else too.

At the side of the bed I could track where it moved around in the room and at one point it mixed with another smell.... It was Amy... It carried her! The trail stopped at the door and I knew it took her!

I quickly picked up some clothes, not caring if they were mine or not. For all I know I could have been wearing a dress. Thankfully this was not the case. I slammed the door open only to be burned by the sun's rays. I hissed at it and retreated back into the room.

My anger had reached its peak and there I was powerless by the will of the sun. Luckily it only scratched my body before I retreated. I paced around my room trying to think of how I would find her. All rational thought was basically evacuated at this point.
