"Well... Medically, you seem okay." Melissa said, after having checked Stiles for his vitals and, even though Stiles could tell she was still nervous around him, he did appreciate her doing it. "You're definitely a real person..."
"Okay, so I'm real, but am I the real me?" Stiles asked, just as confused as everyone else about the situation. Melissa opened her mouth to respond, but, before she could, Scott appeared by his bedroom door and Stiles sat up from his place on his best friend's bed. "Is she here?"
"Yeah..." Scott nodded.
"Okay, let's do this." Stiles sighed as he stood up from the bed and started to make his way downstairs with Scott and Melissa following him closely, clearly worried for his health. "Guys, we have to do this."
Stiles stopped when he saw, standing in Scott's living room, Noshiko Yukimura, who Stiles knew only as Kira's mom but that Void definitely knew from before any of this.
"Do you recognize me?" The woman asked and Stiles did, he remembered her, as he remembered almost everything he had done as Void Stiles.
"Stop!" Kira protested, rushing into the room after her mom as Stiles shook his head.
"It's okay." He assured. "I'm the one who asked her to come."
"You're the one who's going to get stabbed with swords." Kira corrected, desperately. "Mom, don't do this to him."
"It's already done." Noshiko said, and everyone took a step back when about three Oni materialized from thin air, walking over to Stiles as they placed a hand behind his ear and stared at him with their glowing yellow eyes before letting go of him as Stiles fell to the floor, shivering violently. "Look behind his ear."
Scott wasted no time, then, rushing to his best friend as he turned Stiles on his side and almost sighed in relief when he noticed the self kanji stamped there in his skin.
"It worked." Scott whispered, helping Stiles back up on his feet.
"So, I'm actually me?" Stiles asked.
"More you than the Nogitsune." Noshiko said.
"Can the Oni find him?"
"Tomorrow night." The woman said. "It's too close to dawn now."
"Can they kill him?"
"Depends on how strong he is."
"What about Diana?" Scott asked. "Why would he take her?"
"He would only take her for an advantage." Noshiko said, as Scott frowned.
"You mean her power?" The alpha asked. "But she doesn't even know how to use them yet."
"No." Stiles mumbled, as everyone turned to look at him. "But he does."

Void Stiles followed Diana around the tunnels again, but, this time, he wasn't really chasing her. Not anymore. Diana didn't feel the need to run anymore. In fact, Void started to realize she was starting to actually enjoy being there.
"Can you hear them?" Void asked, as Diana shook her head, her fingers running over the walls of the tunnels as she passed by.
"No." She said. "But I can feel them."
"And what do you feel?"
"Fear." Diana said, the corner of her lips curling up in a little smirk as Void nodded at her, pleased by her reaction. "Pain, grief, death... A lot of bad things happened here, didn't they?"
"Yes." Void nodded. "This was a Japanese internment camp during World War II. Noshiko was here when she was younger. She fell in love with one of the American soldiers. A forbidden love, if you will. And like every forbidden love, it didn't end well."
