But Eve was named after the first woman on Earth, the same woman who destroyed the world with a mere shove of her finger, which is why her family practiced the Dark Arts in secret as well, to help her keep that evil monster inside her at bay.
Tom Riddle knew something was wrong with Eve. He felt the great power hidden beneath her pores, one that was greater than his and that made him furious, no one was supposed to be stronger than him, no one was supposed to have such great power and just keep it at bay like that.
Which is why he helped her channel her inner power, releasing something he and his faithful Knights quickly named The Hades Effect.
