Students are parting as they make way for the most important student in the campus.
The great and mighty Jennie Kim. She's the student body president of their school.
The brunette walks gracefully aiming for the cafeteria, leading the whole student council as they trail behind her, forming a perfect triangle.
Murmurs and whispers were heard but screaming in adoration were never made, though the students badly wanted to. Nobody wants to disrespect the council.
Everything about the council screams riches, intelligence and beauty. Bae Irene, Kim Jisoo, Oh Sehun, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Cai Xukun, Cha Eun Woo, Yook SeungJae, Kim Joonmyeon or known as Suho, and of course, to top it all, the Jennie Kim.
They started to eat in silence with all the manners and elegance, making the whole cafeteria watch in awe. They're seated on the huge and black centermost table, exclusive for them, and them only.
"Waaaaaaahhh!"
"Ahhhhhhh!"
"Jeeeez they're here!"
"Oh my god, it's Lisa!"
"Seulgiiii my love!"
"Ryujinnnn, saranghae!"
"Ahhh! Hwang Yejiiiiiii!"
"Dahyunnnnn!"
"Jeongyeon, I love youuu!"
Jennie sighed before continuing her lunch. Even the whole council stopped eating to give the newcomers a good look.
They're the women's basketball team. Seems like the girls just finished their practice, and they looked fresh from a nice shower.
"Where's Captain Aussie?" Irene asked Jennie who just raised a brow at her in confusion.
'Why are you asking me? As if I know—' she wanted to ask her but was interrupted by a loud noise.
An eruption of glee and giddy squeals from the students in the cafeteria.
"Aaaaahhhhhh!"
"Park Chaeyoung, marry me!"
"Rosé babyyyy!"
"How to be you, love!"
"I love you, Chaeyoung!"
"Waaaaaaah loveeee!"
"Chaeyoung, I love youuuu!"
"Ah there she is.." Jisoo muttered with a smirk.
Park Chaeyoung, or Roseanne, popularly known as Rosé, is the captain ball of the Womens basketball team, and the only daughter of the Park family, who owns the school.
She looks hot wearing a black sportsbra, her team's practice pants for her bottom, 'tis a pair of black sweats with her last name embroided on the side. Her wet blonde hair adds up to the fact that her whole being screams perfection.
"I swear.. those abs will be the death of this school.." Irene commented without taking her eyes off the blonde.
"Will never argue wit' you on that, Bae.." Seokjin nodded, eyes glued on the subject whose now getting all the attention she deserves.
Jennie who just went back to eating, also got a good look on the famous Park's abs, gulped hard before taking another bite of her food, she herself could never disagree. She fanned herself subtly as she felt hot all of a sudden.
Park's team settled on their usual spot at the escalated corner of the room, which gives them a nice view of the whole cafeteria, three tables away from the council's table.
Couple of minutes later, another set of jocks entered the scene. The mens basketball team led by their team captain, Kim Jongin, known as Kai. Jennie's boyfriend.
He immediately made his way to her with a huge grin on his face while his teammates noisily sat on their usual table after getting their tray of orders.
“Babe..” he sweetly said as he stood behind Jennie and waited for her to stand up and greet him with a kiss. And the latter did. He was dissapointed, it was just a quick kiss, but smiled at her nonetheless.
Jennie forced a smile before taking her seat one more time. Kai turned his heel, walking his way to his teammates, a boastful smirk now plastered on his face. She's his trophy. He badly wanted to sit beside her to prolong the attention he's getting from the crowd but there's no room for another seat on the council's table.
For Jennie, it's just a routine. All for a show, for popularity's sake. Works for both of them. She never felt anything for the guy. He doesn't even make her heart flutter. He's handsome yeah, but that's it. Maybe it just make sense to date a popular if you're also one, or not. She doesn't have any idea, but she needs it for her image. So it's okay.
And they don't actually date, it's just the label. Oh yeah they did, once. Without a follow up, because she always say she's busy with school works and stuff, even if she's not. She just simply don't like his presence.
Meanwhile, Chaeyoung watched the couple's interaction silently and shook her head once in disapproval. She knew the guy's mischiefs.
"What's wrong, Chip?" Lisa whispered, enough for her bestfriend to hear.
Chaeyoung's eyes never leaving her view of the president's resting bitch-face.
"He doesn't deserve her." Chaeyoung replied with a slight knit on her brows.
"We both know that, Chip. But that's not our business to deal with."
"Not if I wanted it to be my business, Li." A smirk crept up the side of her lips.
"W-What?"
And as if Jennie heard her, the brunette lifted her gaze to meet hers. They locked eyes for a couple of seconds before the blonde decided to give her a wink. The brunette squinted her eyes at the blonde before she looked behind her back, over her shoulder, just to check if the wink was directed to her. She blushed soon as she realized she wasn't wrong, as the blonde sent her another one.
Jennie looked away as she felt her cheeks burn. 'Is she flirting with me?' she shook her head at the thought.
"Yah! Did you just wink at her?" Lisa's jaw dropped as she eyed her bestfriend in confusion.
Chaeyoung only shrugged as an answer.
Lisa wasn't able to ask the series of question she had on her head when another set of cheer filled the cafeteria. The football and cheer team has arrived.
"I saw that." Jisoo muttered, enough for Jennie to hear.
"Saw what?"
"The wink."
To say Jennie 'flushed red' at this was an understatement. She looked away.
"It wasn't for me." She countered.
Jisoo snickered, "I'm your bestfriend, you can fool everyone but never me, Kim."
"And seeing you blush like that tells me you liked it, Jendeuk." Jisoo added, teasing.
"I don't. Shut it, chu."
"Tell that to your dumpling cheeks, Jennie."
"Whatever."
