"Watch your back, Kitten. Someone wants to destroy you and you're oblivious of the people that're involved." Jisoo read what's written on the piece of paper they found in Jennie's locker.

"You familiar with the handwriting, Chu?" Jennie asked and her bestfriend shook her head.

"Is this the first time you received something like this? I mean.. not like a love letter?"

"Yeah." Jennie nodded.

"Nice penmanship, huh. But hey, is there someone who calls you 'kitten' ?" Jisoo raised a brow at her.

Jennie furrowed her brows, "No one dares."

"I know, even if you look like one. It's kinda cute tho."

"Oh please, don't start, Chu."

"Whoever it is, he or she's obviously giving you a warning, Jen. We shouldn't take this for granted. Did you mess up with someone lately?"

"Not that I remember." She shook her head, "I mean I'm always like this, I don't know, maybe?"

"Ugh, Jendeuk.." Jisoo closed her eyes shut in annoyance before sliding the paper in her pocket, "You know what? Let's get to class, this conversation's getting nowhere."

"Agree."

But then the older Kim stopped on her tracks, and worriedly looked at the younger, "Give me a ring if anything happens, alright?"

This made Jennie elicit a genuine smile. A rare one. "Will do, mom." She quirked, earning a slap on her shoulder.

"Aw." Jennie chuckled, "Thanks, Chu."

"Always, Jendeuk. Always." Jisoo smiled as she gave her bestfriend a tight sidehug.

Jennie dismissed the council when the bell rang at 5pm and now it was just her and Jisoo inside the room, they've finished a lot of paperworks for the past hour and a half, they need those completed for the new event that is appoaching. Both tired, they're now fixing their things, getting ready to go home when Jennie sighed, raising a brow at her phone before she shook her head once.

"Chu, can you give me a lift?" Jennie asked after reading her boyfriend's text.

"Yeah, of course. Where's Kai? He said he'll drive you home-"

"Well-yeah, but he told me he went home first cause his back is aching due to the hard practice. And he just texted me last minute. Tsk!"

"What a jerk."

"I know! He could've told me sooner! If I only knew I shouldn't have told my driver to go home without me." Jennie said with knitted brows. "This is the third time, Chu. And I'm really getting pissed. What if you're not around?"

"Irene."

"And if she isn't around?"

"Well.. the boys, Kim. If they're still here. And.. you know you can just ask every student here and they'll come trembling to give you a ride home. Everybody wants to give you a ride. They just know you won't let them. And I know you have trust issues, so.." Jisoo chuckled.
