After doing a series of what seems like breathing exercises, Jennie let out one final heavy sigh before signalling the guards to open the gate.

She then finally went out, greeted by a very shiny dark red McLaren before her eyes landed on the blonde owner sitting on the slightly elevated pathway, head hung low whilst looking at her phone with slumped shoulders.

Soon as she saw her, she felt her heart skip a beat before it started ramming in her chest in an overwhelming pace.

Jennie then felt the butterflies on her stomach started building their tents for another night of party.

She shook her head at the pleasant sight.

'She's still gorgeous even from this distance.' Jennie smiled, inhaling a good amount of air as she gathered herself together.

She then walked her way to the blonde, halting just before her, crossing her arms against her chest as she look down on her.

Chaeyoung didn't raise her head to look at her, despite seeing a pair of green alien slippers in front of her. The blonde knew it was her, her chanel perfume scent tells her so.

"What brought you here?" Jennie spoke in her monotone voice.

"I.. can't sleep." the blonde mumbled, head still hung low whilst scratching the back of her phone that's situated on her lap with a huge pout on her lips which immediately melted the brunette's heart.

'God she's so...cuuute!' Jennie had to try her best to suppress her giggle as she found the blonde adorable. 'Goodness, didn't know that Captain Park the great is such a baby.'

"So? What do I have to do with that?" Jennie held her straight face and her humdrum tone.

"I can't sleep knowing you're still mad at me. I tried but.. I just can't." she sounded so sad that something constricted inside the brunette's system after hearing it.

Jennie didn't know if it was possible but she felt like the pout on the blonde's lips increased even more when she uttered her last reply.

The brunette then bit her lip, fighting the urge to pinch the blonde's chubby cheeks.

She smiled mentally when Chaeyoung's words finally sinked in.'She can't sleep because I was mad at her?' she shook her head, 'Damn, Kim! How did you become so pretty?! Why do I feel like I'm prettier than my bestfriends now? Pffft!' she laughed internally, feeling silly.

She admits, she's really liking the effect she has on the blonde. It makes her extra beautiful in an unexplainable way.

A still pouting Chaeyoung slowly looked up at her with tired and sad eyes.

'She should be sleeping by now, she still has early training tomorrow. Tsk tsk!' Jennie thought.

The effort exerted by the blonde to come to her sent another jolt of happiness to her insides.

'Make it quick, Jennie. This huge baby of yours needs to rest,' she smiled internally, feeling confident now about her feelings.

They aren't even starting their main conversation but the pout on the blonde's lips is already destroying the brunette's barriers whilst they held each other's gaze.
