Hannah's eyes fluttered open, as the soft sound of toast springing from the toaster gently woke her from her sleep. She looked around and saw Mamrie take the toast from the toaster and go to Hannah's fridge to find some spreads.
Ah yes, Hannah thought, smiling sweetly. Mamrie.
"Here, let me help, Mames." She slid off the couch and walked over to Mamrie, sliding her arm down towards the counter, so it intertwined with the beautiful women's hand.
Mamrie giggled and leaned her head against Hannah. She buttered her toast with some vegan butter she found in Hannah's fridge and then did Hannah's. Then, she laughed to herself, spun around and wiped a small smear of butter across Hannah's lips.
The blonde gasped in mock-offense and went to wipe it from her face, but Mamrie stopped her. "No," she moved closer. "Let me." Mamrie kissed Hannah's soft lips gently, just lightly brushing them with her own until the butter was gone.
Hannah smiled. "But now the butter's on your lips." She moved in to kiss Mamrie more passionately but, almost comedically, she was interupted by a knock at the door.
"Oh shit!" Hannah whispered. "I forgot Grace was coming over. We're meant to be planning the No Filter Shows today."
But Mamrie seemed unphased. "Meh, I'll just say I was here already," she said, going to open the door. "As long as we can sneak in a little more Hartsquared fanfic this time!"
"Mamrie, what are you doing here so early?" Grace exclaimed, as she walked into the room, slightly confused. "I thought it was just me and Hannah today."
The redhead laughed, "Well, no need to act so disappointed! I had to run a few errands this morning so I thought I'd just drop by. Then, when Hannah said you'd be here soon, I thought I'd just stick around."

Mamrie is such a good liar, thought Hannah. I wonder if that's a good thing or not.

"Well that's great!" Grace laughed. "You look amazing by the way, Mamrie. Is that a new dress?"
"This? No, I've had it for years. But I haven't worn it in a while. I only wear it out on special occasions."

Hannah smiled.

"Oh yeah," Grace laughed. "What's the occasion?"
"I went to see my cousin this morning," said Mamrie, almost instantly. "I hadn't seen him in a while but he was in town so we met for breakfast."
"Cool," Grace said, before rolling her eyes. "But, I can still see the breakfast on your face, Mames - you have butter on your lips!"

Hannah's insides churned as she watched Grace trace her finger across Mamrie's lips to wipe the spread away. The two girls giggled in the doorway before coming over to where Hannah stood, a plate of toast in her hand.

"Not hungry, Hart?" Grace smiled, her face aglow. "Also, vegan butter? I didn't know you ate that."

"I fancied a change," Hannah said, slightly stubbornly. But Grace didn't seem to notice.

"So, shall we talk No Filter Show?" She laughed.

"Let's do it!" Mamrie cheered, going over to the couch. "Hannah, get over here!"

Hannah put the toast down on the counter. She'd lost her appetite. The way Grace touched Mamrie like that... and the way she looked at her.

"Hannah?" Grace called.
"You're currently on track to win first prize in musical statues, but I don't think we're playing right now!" joked Mamrie. She was always so funny.

After many hours of laughing, drinking and the occasional serious word about No Filter, Mamrie announced she had to go and so the so-called "meeting" came to a conclusion. The three hugged and Mamrie walked towards the door.
"Text me, okay?" Mamrie said, one foot out of the door. "Both of you." But her eyes were only on Hannah.

"I love it when Mamrie's round." Grace said, half-heartedly. "She's so funny."
Hannah's temper snapped. "Is there something you wanna tell me, Grace?" she burst out, angrily.
Grace looked taken-aback. "No!" she said quietly. "What's the matter?"
"You've been looking Mamrie up and down all day like you want to marry her or something!"
"Marry Mamrie?" Grace laughed. "What do y-" she trailed off, recognition written on her face. "You think I'm in love with her?"
Hannah was silent as she lowered her eyes to the floor.
"Are you kidding me, Hannah?" Grace said, taking the blonde's small hands in her own. "How could I be in love with Mamrie, when I'm totally and completely in love... with you?"

Hannah's heartbeat thudded in her chest. She felt her pulse quicken and her blood churned in her ears. Her eyes grew wide as Grace took her chin and brought it up, so Hannah's eyes had nowhere else to look but at her face.

Grace opened her mouth, lent in closer, so their noses almost touched. "And I can't keep that a secret anymore." Grace brought her lips to Hannah's and Hannah's whole body went still.
