Samantha Miller drove Voight back to the district. They had arranged that Trudy with several patrol officers would go to Voight's house to get him clothes and make sure there was no sign of Lawrence at his home. Voight left Miller in the lobby before going up to the empty intelligence department. Walking through the empty bullpen was unnerving. He went to his office and opened the bottom drawer, taking out a bottle and glass. Giving himself a healthy pour he took a sip before resting his head in his hand on the desk and allowed his fear of losing his team surface briefly. He knew one thing, he had to find Malony and Lawrence before the team was ready to come back on duty or someone would end up dead.
