Part Three: Night Changes

Your POV:

"Ok Sam: white or yellow?" I held up two sleeveless dresses In front of my friend. She studied them both and looked to me. "White. Definitely. Yellow is more of a day time look." "Thanks." I said changing into the dress. I ha already chosen a nicer outfit, but Dan texted me saying that the restaurant was jam packed and that we would have a picnic in the park instead. He said to wear something cute but casual, so I'll be going in my short white sleeveless dress and jeans, maybe a brown leather jacket over. I straightened my hair and steed into the mirror while I applied some black eyeliner. "Nothing can ruin tonight.. I hope he likes me without my hat..." I thought grabbing my phone. As I looked up at the magenta sky ahead, I hopped onto my bike and silently rode to the park.

I parked my bike quietly, trying not to settle the handsome brunette that sat patiently on the hill ahead of me. I whipped out my phone and snapped a pic of him, his body outlined by the setting sun. I snuck up behind him and pounced on him from behind. Knowing it was me, we rolled down the hill together, never letting go. He giggled uncontrollably, as did I, as we made eye contact the entire time. Eventually, the bottom of the hill brought us to a stop. We landed, my back to the ground and Dan on top of me. "I Uh...hah..." I smiled nervously. Dan blushed more than ever. He lowered his head slowly and our lips collided. "My first kiss...." I thought to myself.

Dan's POV:

"My first kiss...." I thought to myself. We kissed passionately for a long while; 5 minutes at least. I've been dreaming of this moment my entire life, and I craved it more than ever this past week. Our mouths separated innocently as the starry night sky began to twinkle above us. I let out a soft sigh and bit my lip while our noses touched lightly. "That was..." "Amazing!" I contributed. I was still on top of (y/n), ravishing in the moment that we'd just shared. I realized when I looked into her stunning (e/c) eyes that this is the girl that I'd want to spend the rest of my life with. I slowly dismounted her, allowing her to sit up and look at the stars with me. With my arm around her shoulders, she lay her head gently onto mine. "Dan," she looked up to me lovingly. "Yes, Darling?" She hesitated but admittedly uttered the words, "I think I love you." She couldn't tell in the moonlight, but a single tear rolled down my cheek. T'was a tear of happiness. I kissed her forehead and looked her in the eyes. "I love you, too, (y/n), more than you'll ever know."
