Your POV:
It'd been a week since Dan and I met. We exchanged phone numbers, as did Sam and Phil. I decided to let him text me first, to test him and his relationship skills. BUZZZZ!! My phone went off as I slid to my home screen to see that I'd received a text from a random number. I knew it had to be him. "Hey, is this (y/n)?" It read. I bit my lip and replied, "It depends, is this agent 007?" My heart raced as the three blinking dots taunted me in response to my text. He replied quickly. "In the flesh, ma lady" he said. I giggled to myself and we continued to text for what seemed like hours. Once in a while he'd send me funny and cute selfies of him. I did the same. And he would always comment with the most beautiful things such as, "I wish I was there next to you so that I can look into your beautiful (e/c) eyes all day." I sighed lovingly at everything he said. At about 6:23 pm, Sam came prancing through the door. "Hello, my dear friend!" She sang as she hung up her coat. The London weather had gone back to normal. "Why are you so happy?" I questioned with a smile. "I've been out with Phil all day! We went to the park and held hands and fed squirrels and OH what a wonderful day we had!" She smiled and tried to calm herself down. "Hah, I hadn't even noticed that you were gone! I've been talking to Dan all day on the phone. Speaking of which, things are moving pretty fast for you and Phil, you know. You must really adore him." I remarked nudging her. She just smiled and giggled to herself, whipping out her phone and typing madly to her new boyfriend. Me and Dan weren't exactly "official" yet. We've only texted each other since we met. In fact, Dan made plans for us at a nice restaurant nearby this Friday night. I was so happy that I sang into my hairbrush and danced around. Everything in my life seemed so perfect since I met Dan. Nothing could be better.
Fast forward to Friday afternoon...
Dan's POV:
"Which color suit would you prefer: black or-" "Black please," I said excitedly. The old woman brought me my size suit and pushed me towards the dressing room. Tonight was going to be special. I still can't believe that (y/n) agreed to go to dinner with me. I told her that I'd made us reservations to a fancy restaurant, but instead we are having a candle-lit picnic on top of a park hill. The place will be empty, giving me and her all the privacy we need for our first kiss. We'd do it just as the sun had finally fallen beneath the horizon. The suit, however, was not for tonight. It was for the future, as far as you know. Tonight I'm going casual; maybe my leather jacket and a white t-shirt, along with black skinny jeans. Phil sat patiently as I walked from the dressing room, showing him my new tux. "Your a bit in over your head, mate." He said eyeing me suspiciously. "Does it look nice or what, Phil?" I grew impatient and annoyed. "Yes, Daniel, you look like James Bond." "PERFECT!" I said sarcastically. I eventually bought the suit and pushed Phil out the door. We drove to our apartment so that I was able to prepare in time for my date with (y/n). "Everything..." I whispered to myself as I walked out the door and to the park. "Everything...that happens tonight is what she deserves, and she deserves the best." The engine hummed as I pulled out of the complex. "Here goes nothing..."
