Rosé's POV:
"Leo!"
I embraced the little creature with relief and buried my face in its fur. It had an earthy, but homey scent. At this point, all I wanted was to cry. Cry until there were no tears left. Until my eyes were completely dried out. But I couldn't. Why did Dad have to die? Why is the world so cruel? Why am I so weak? Too many things were on my mind.
"You are like me right? You always come when you wind me, because you're weak. Do you still remember when you were bit by a Chupacabra?"
The niffler snuggled itself closer to me, purring while playing with my ring.
"Back then, I found you almost dead with this big wound on your leg. You were only a baby and couldn't get up, move or anything. I carried you back to Hogwarts in the pocket of my jacket remember?"
I chuckled.
"Then I treated your wound and since you were so tiny and seemed to have no parents, I raised you in secret until you were big enough to live by yourself."
But what if he had parents? I had taken him away from his home, his fellows. I didn't consider the fact that he might have missed the others while he was recuperating. You're a monster, Roseanne Park. I felt hot tears running down my cheeks. I could taste blood, guess I had been biting on my lip for too long. But I didn't feel any pain, it was like the freezing cold and sadness combined made me numb.
"Do you hate me, Leo?"
Why did I even ask? Of course he did. Monster.

Jungkook's POV:
7:45 p.m. All students were supposed to be in the rooms in five minutes. Soon the dementors would be let out for patrol and that would be very dangerous. Dementors, vicious, soul-sucking beasts and the personification of a nightmare.
I had already spent two hours trying to find her, but she was still nowhere to be found. I was struggling to catch my breath, the back of the t-shirt under my cloak was drenched in sweat, I had been running all the time looking for her. Maybe I should tell her friends and ask them to help me ... No, I don't think there is a need to, they're all so close. I looked around as I felt the cold slowly creep under my shirt, making me shiver a little. But I had to find her, I couldn't leave without seeing her safe.
Suddenly, I heard a light, but enthralling melody coming from the direction of the Forbidden Forest. The sound was almost hypnotizing, but in a very calming way. Curiosity took control over me as I moved towards the source of the melody, forgetting why I actually came here. The sound got louder and clearer with every step I took, but all of the sudden I could no longer hear it anymore. Why did it stop? I was looking around when I saw her. There she was, sitting on a stone, her long wavy hair covering her face like a curtain. But I still recognized her, her cherry red hair and delicate form always made her stood out from the rest. She was holding something between her fingers, what seemed like a little flute made of a single bamboo stick. So that's where the sound came from. Her eyes were reddish and so were her nose and cheeks. Her lips were almost deep purple, making me realize how long she must've spent sitting there, crying. It hurt me, seeing her in this state.
I was about to approach her, when I noticed that she was with someone, Jennie. And something. A little black creature was rolled up on her lap as she ran her hands through its fur. I didn't think that me sitting next to her would make her feel better, who was I to her? I was probably one of the last people she wanted to see right now since I could unintentionally remind her of what happened and make her even sadder. I was about to leave, when I heard her faint voice:
"Jennie, do you think I'm a monster?"
"No, of course not. You are the kindest, sweetest and most hard-working person I know. Why would you think that?"
She looked down at her feet, "Because I feel like such an inconsiderate and heartless person, I took away Leo and kept him without thinking of his fellow nifflers. He might have had friends and family, he must have felt uncomfortable, lonely and excluded."
Jennie looked at her for a while, then she hugged her tightly.
"You're overthinking, remember when we found him? He was almost dead and he would have died if you hadn't taken him with you. You did this for his sake, to save him. You are not a monster, Rosie."
She lifted her head, tears glistening in her eyes, "But what Lucas said - "
Jennie immediately interrupted her, "No. Don't listen to his crap. Of course your Dad loved you. If he hadn't tried to protect your Mum, Jisoo and you, you wouldn't even be here now. Even though I didn't know him personally, I'm very sure that he loved you guys so much."
Rosé nodded and Jennie gave her a warm smile.
I sighed, I was relieved to see her smile again. My heart stopped aching and I caught myself with a little smile on my face. She seemed so fragile and innocent, which kinda made me wonder how she ended up being a Gryffindor. I felt a weird urge to protect her from anything that could possibly harm her.
That was when I realized something. Something, I should have realized a long time ago.
The moment I looked at her eyes back then in the train.
The moment Jimin and the others said I acted weird.
When I started daydreaming which I had never done before.
When I started getting distracted way easier than before I had met her.
I really fell in love with you, Park Chaeyoung.
