Chapter 7

Jungkook's PoV:

I entered the Great Hall to have breakfast and meet my group of friends.

As I did, I received a lot of attention. Girls whispering while looking at me, following my steps with their eyes, I'm used to it, I know I'm handsome.

But I was only looking for one person. I saw her sitting on the Gryffindor table with three other girls. They looked at me and Rosé's and my eyes met. She gave me a shy smile and I winked at her. Cute. Guess we're in good terms now.

"Jungkook-ah, what was that just now? What happened yesterday? You forgot your wand" Jimin said to me, smirking.

"Nothing, we're just friends"

Our first lesson was supposed to be Defense Against The Dark Arts with the Gryffindors, but Professor Lupin told us to all gather in the Great Hall instead. So I was pretty curious about what it was about this time.

"So today, we will do something different from what we usually do. As you might know, the wizardry tournament will take place next month. I'll split you into groups of two people, one girl and one boy. You will duel other pairs together. I will give you two weeks to practice spells. After these two weeks the best three pairs will get the opportunity to compete with pairs from higher grades and other schools. The best pair will get the opportunity to become an animagus and 200 house points."

Everyone started whispering excitedly. Then Professor Lupin started announcing the pairings:

"Ms. Song Yuqi and Mr. Wong Lucas, Ms. Kang Mina and Mr. Lee Mark, Ms. Jung Eunha and Mr. Jeong Jaehyun, Ms. Choi Arin and Mr. Choi Soobin, Ms. Hwang Yeji and Mr. Hwang Hyunjin, Ms. Kim Yeri and Mr. Lee Taeyong, Ms. Kang Seulgi and Mr. Lim Jaebeom, Ms. Bae Joohyun and Mr. Park Jinyoung, Ms. Park Sooyoung and Mr. Yook Sungjae, Ms. Park Jihyo and Mr. Kang Daniel, Ms. Hirai Momo and Mr. Kim Heechul, Ms. Im Nayeon and Mr. Kim Mingyu, Ms. Choi Tzuyu and Mr. Tuan Mark, Ms. Jeon Soyeon and Mr. Min Yoongi, Ms. Kim Jennie and Mr. Park Jimin and finally Ms. Park Chaeyoung with Mr. Jeon Jungkook"

Rosé's POV:

WHAT?! NO! Park Chaeyoung, how are you gonna face him after what happened last night?!

"Mrs. Park Chaeyoung? Are you alright? You looked like you were about to faint"

"No, I'm okay"

"So can you answer my question?
What spell causes deep gashes on the victim's body?"

"Sorry, I don't know"

"Mr. Jeon Jungkook? Do you know the answer?"

"Um- The Sectumsempra Curse?"
"Correct, 5 Points for Slytherin"

~ tiny time skip ~

"That's it for today's lesson. Don't forget to practice some spells for the tournament, I'm looking forward to it"

We all left the classroom through the same door, but then split up. The Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws followed the left path, while we and the Slytherins turned right to the common rooms.

I was talking to Jennie, when someone suddenly grabbed my hand and pushed me against the wall.

Our faces were only 3 centimeters apart from each other.

"Today, 8 pm Room of Requirement, ok?" He whispered into my left ear.

"O- o- ok"

Then he left with a bunny smile on his face.
I was still a little startled from what happened earlier. Is Jungkook a playboy? Why is my heart beating so fast and hurting a little at the same time?

"Hellooo?"
Jennie's loud voice made me realize how I got lost in my thoughts.

"What is going on between you two?"

"You mean, Jungkook and me? He just told me to meet him at 8 pm in the Room of Requirement to practice some spells."

"What you guys just did, didn't look ordinary to me... "

I didn't know what to answer. His way of approaching me definitely wasn't the 'ordinary' way at all.

"Unnie, do you think he is a playboy?"

"Maybe but I don't think so, why?" Jennie said.

"I don't know, the way he just acted, I don't know, was he flirting with me?" I said, a little hesitant.

"I don't know either. Just ask Jisoo-unnie, she definitely knows better than me. Are you sure, you're ok, I mean you know what happens to your heart when you..."

"Don't worry, I'm totally fine. Nothing happened " I interrupted her.

~ time skip ~

It was 7:55 pm. I took my invisibility cloak and wand and sneaked out the Gryffindor common room.

It was pretty dark in the hallway. I could only hear the sound of my own steps echoing.

I entered the Room of Requirement. The room was beautifully decorated. The lights were blueish and candles were lit in the corners of the room. Apart from two mattresses and a cupboard full of
crystal balls glowing in different colors was nothing in the room.

"Done looking around?" I heard a voice next to my ear.

I was very startled, turned around and slapped him. It was a reflex. When I saw who it was, I calmed down a little. It was Jungkook.

"You could've simply greeted me instead of slapping me"

"Oh I'm so sorry, you scared me. Are you ok?"

He helped me a lot since I was very bad at Defense Against The Dark Arts. He adjusted my movements, posture and my pronunciation. We were so focused that we didn't realize how much time had passed. When I looked at the clock, it was already 10pm.

"It's getting late now and I'm really tired. Jungkook-ssi, thanks a lot for today."

"You're welcome. Tomorrow, same time, same place?"

"Ok, sleep well"

"Sweet dreams"

And I left the room with a little smile on my face. Such a cutie.
