*Third person's POV*

"So, I'm a doctor now, hmm?" Harry asked the feathery-haired man, who was resting his head on Harry's lap.

"Well, according to Lottie, yes. A doctor of my heart." He said and Harry gasped, "She knows?!"

"Well, thanks to you, Mr. reveal-it-all, she understood everything yesterday after listening to your speech about me." He said and Harry smacked his forehead, "Ughh I hate this." Louis laughed as he continued playing with Harry's fingers.

For a while, they stayed there in the open, sitting on grass and admiring nature. Harry had to agree that Louis' house was located at a great place. Beautiful nature supported by a beautiful house, in which grew a beautiful boy. His beautiful boy.

Louis' step-dad and his mum had gone out to their friend's house, while Lottie was inside video calling one of her friends. So, Louis and Harry took that opportunity to give themselves a little time for cuddling and loving. Lottie tried filming them for a while, but they locked her in her room and now there was no way she could trouble them.

"Louis...when do you plan to talk to your dad?" Harry asked as Louis entwined our fingers and kissed his knuckles. He said, "I don't know, Harry...I think I just want him to know that we're together and despite all his efforts, I'm still gay. I don't think I'm wanting to do anything else."

Harry asked, "And...do you think I need to do anything?" "Just don't leave me all alone. I need you." He said and Harry rolled his eyes. Like he would leave him.

"I love you, Lou." He hummed and kissed the inside of Harry's palm. Harry frowned. He wanted Louis to say it back to him.

"Louis?" "Mhm?" "I love you." "I know, baby." He said as he kissed Harry's hand again but Harry immediately withdrew his hand. Louis looked up at Harry and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Louis, do you love me?" Harry asked him.

Louis opened his mouth but nothing came out. He closed his mouth again and quickly sat up. Harry crossed his hands on his chest and said, "I don't know what you even think of me, Louis. Are you using me? Because honestly, this feels like a one-sided relationship, where I'm the only one being honest with my emotions and feelings towards you."

Louis was quick to cup Harry's cheek and say, "I do care about you, Harry." Harry shrugged away Louis' hands and frowned deeper. Louis sighed, "What is the problem?" "Louis, I want you to tell me you love me. Now." Harry demanded, with a stern face and voice.

"Harry, I can't just say that...It's a little hard fo-" "For you to accept that you love me? Why? Am I unlovable? Or are you broke?" Harry cut him midway.

"Neither, baby, neither! You are so so lovable, and I'm not broke. I just need-" Louis started, softly but Harry chuckled sadly, "I'm doubting that. Either I'm unlovable or you are broke."

Louis sighed. Why couldn't Harry understand that he needed time to come to terms and accept that he...what he felt for Harry? He simply...couldn't do it. Couldn't say it.

"Harry, baby, just give me some time." Louis tried again, but Harry would have none of it. He got up on his feet, soon followed by Louis, and he said clearly, "I don't trust you, Louis. I love you, but this is...It's one-sided, isn't it? I was blind to not notice." With that, he turned and walked into the house, ignoring Louis' cries and pleas.

Louis followed him and found him talking to Lottie. "Lots, can I stay in the guest room? Please? Just tell me where it is, I'll do the cleaning and everything myself." Harry was telling a confused Lottie.
