"Your giggle is the most wonderful sound I've ever heard" I couldn't stop my face from turning crimson.
The teacher asked us to draw whatever we wanted and suddenly Xavier pulled me on the seat in front of him and told me to pose. I laughed it off and thus the cheesy line.
"What are you doing?" I later asked after a while of not staying in an exact posture.
"What does it look like? " he says mixing colours on the palette again then brushing it on the drawing board.
I nodded. "You want to draw me? "
He rolled his eyes. "I thought you were any smarter. "
I didn't miss the sarcasm so I frowned.
He shrugged and focused on my face. The way his eyes settled intently on me gave me goosebumps.
"Is it making you uncomfortable?" he asked and I shook my head in response.
"Then, kindly stop blushing, Claire. I need a perfect drawing."
"I'm not blushing. I'm frowning! " I giggled and started making funny faces.
"I know."
I heard someone chuckle behind us. I turned around, only to find that creepy Richard smirking at us. He was with two more guys, looking as shitty and disgusting as him.
"Is she the new Zoe? "
I looked at Xavier and saw him roll he eyes and snort.
"I'm done fighting you, Richard. " he closed his eyes and reopened it bringing back more confidence
"But I'm not, asshole. You're such a poor guy that you went ahead to get the eye of the good girl in class.....Oh let me guess. You fed her your sad story and she fell right? "
I scowled at him as he stood up and came in front of me. His irritating smell.... He's such a puke.
"Pretty face.. "he trailed his hand around my jaw and I slapped him.
"Hey! You slapped me you slut! " I wanted to give him another slap but his gang towered upon me and I stopped. Xavier quickly pulled me towards himself, making look scrawny.
"Don't dare touch her or you'll regret it Richard. And I won't mind if a few bones are broken and little Richard is kicked."
The coward frowned at first but when he saw me giggle, the frown changed to fear.
"Let's get back. " Richard said and the three devils left. My eyes followed Richard's short appearance and I smirked.
He's a coward.
----------I sighed wondering why dad would ask Xavier to come to his office. I shrugged at Xavier's questioning look.
"Bye dad." I hung up the call and continued to stare at Xavier.
