"Sydney.... Sydney.... SYDNEY IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP. WAKE UP NOW OR YOU'll BE LATE!"

Can't parents ever shut up for once in their lives. I hated school. A lot. Being a senior in high school means that soon enough I'm gonna have to be focusing on college. But that's just even more school. Isn't that wonderful?

I groaned and slowly got out of bed. I made my way to the bathroom which was right next to my room so that I could take a quick shower.

I hopped in and shampooed my hair, then quickly rinsed it out before conditioning it.

After I finished showering I wrapped a towel around my head and made my way back to my room so that I could pick out some clothes.

"I seriously have no clothes." I said aloud to myself as I stared at my closet which was over-loaded with clothes. "I need to go shopping..."

I picked out some dark skinny jeans, a white shirt, and a black cropped leather jacket. I put on some black vans and went to my dresser to apply some make up.

It didn't take too long, considering I don't wear a whole lot. Only some lip gloss, mascara, and eyeliner.

I took the towel off of my head and brushed my hair out. Luckily, my hair was naturally wavy so I just left it like that today instead of straightening it like I would normally do.

I went back downstairs to get some breakfast.

As I was making my way past the living room my sister Rachel walked by and said, "Hey, moms breathing fire right now since you woke up late. Just warning ya."

I rolled my eyes. I just don't understand parents. Don't they know their kids need their beauty sleep?

I went to the fridge in my kitchen and took out a container of Greek yogurt.

I figured that I didn't have much time until I had to leave for school so I scarfed it down in less than two minutes and went back upstairs to brush my teeth.

When I came back down my sister was already waiting by the door for me.

I picked up my bag and followed her out the door. As I got in the drivers seat I just thought to myself about how wonderful it's going to be when I enter the torture chamber.
