"It's officially official, we're lost!" I yelled annoyed.

"We are not lost okay! I know where we're going." Sarah yelled back at me.

I stopped in my tracks, "No. No you don't. Ten minutes ago you said we were suppose to take a left but instead we kept going straight and now here we are!"

"I'm not in the mood Sydney, "Sarah sighed, "Lets just keep moving."

"No I'm done! I'm tired and I'm thirsty. I'm going to find somewhere to rest. Come find me if you want to." I stomped off.

"You're acting like a child Syd!" Sarah called after me but I ignored her and kept walking.

I pushed a tree branch out of the way and finally sat down on a stump. Sighing I put my chin in the palm of my right hand.

I closed my eyes and listened to the wind.

I heard rustling beside me so I opened my eyes and saw Sarah walking towards me.

"Look, I don't know what just happened but let's just put that behind us." Sarah sighed.

"We shouldn't have left Sarah. I am regretting it so much right now. When you said we were gonna ditch, where exactly were we gonna go? At the moment we are currently stuck in the middle of the woods." I yelled out the last part, picking up a stick and throwing it against a nearby tree.

Startled by my outburst, Sarah took a few steps back.

"Okay I know you're mad. Lets just go back, alright?"

"We can't go back! We don't even know where we are! And if we do make it back how are we gonna get in without getting caught? Huh? Tell me, how we are gonna do that?" I shifted on the stump so that I was facing her.

"I don't know okay! This was a stupid idea!" Sarah shouted, completely frustrated.

I didn't respond. I knew if I did we would just up fighting.

I let my head drop, my eyes looked down at the brown dirt beneath me. I shuffled my feet, not knowing what else to possibly do.

"Okay......" Sarah had pulled the black sweater she was wearing over her head and wrapped it around her waist, "Here's what we could do. We could either stay here and wait for someone to find us, or we could try to find a way out of this place. Which one do you choose?"

"I want to get out of here." I stood up and wiped the back of my jeans off in case anything was on them.

"Good choice. Lets go." I rolled my eyes, unamused as I watched her walk down the dirt path as if she were apart of some marching band in a parade.

Exhaling slowly, I followed her.

"Wait!"

Sarah stopped abruptly, causing me to run into her back and sending her stumbling forward.

"What?!" I whisper/shouted.

"I heard something....." Sarah looked around, her eyes wide and alerted.

"It was probably a squirrel, big deal. Can we keep moving plea-" Before I could finish my sentence, Sarah clamped a hand over my mouth.

"It wasn't a squirrel it sounded like footsteps to me. Let's investigate!" Grabbing my hand, she pulled me with her into the trees.

"I don't want to investigate!" I groaned, "I want to get out of here like you said! What if it's a teacher? Or worse, what if it's a hobo? Or a serial killer!"

"Oh stop exaggerating. I'm sure it's- AGH!" Sarah ran into someone or something, causing her to fall down, pulling me with her.

"What the..... are you alright?" I rubbed my lower back and looked up.

It was the boy from earlier, the one I ran into. And he wasn't alone this time, he was with two other boys. Rather attractive boys if I might add.

"Yeah, yeah I think I'm good....." Sarah trailed off as she got a good look at him, "I'm really good actually."

Oh this was gonna be fun.
