When you're sixteen and don't have a car, even though you took your drivers test and passed, just plain sucks.

My parents don't trust me driving their cars and say I should go out and get a job so that I can buy my own.

I ran a hand through my hair as I walked up the steps to school.

I swung open the door to the main entrance and walked in.

Just as I was getting a good pace going to my locker, a girl with golden blond hair and pale blue eyes ran into me

"Sorry." She mumbled before picking her stuff up and running off before I could even say anything.

I couldn't help but look back at her. She was so cute.... Wait.

No, I won't do that again. I've already been heartbroken once. Besides, it's not like she'll ever notice me anyway.

I turned back and went to my locker.

As I was putting my stuff away I felt a body collide with mine.

"Hood is in the house!" Calum laughed as I collected myself.

"I nearly fell flat on my precious face. I put a lot of work into keeping it this pretty." I narrowed my eyes on him.

"God you're a girl. Have you seen Michael around? He didn't come by my locker like he usually does." Calum looked over my shoulder, as if Michael would just be walking up behind me at that second.

"No, and I don't care." I closed my locker shut.

"You guys need to stop clawing at each other's throats. Why can't you just get along?" Calum asked as he scrolled though his phone.

"Because.... I'll tell you later. It's a long and stupid story anyway." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." Calum bit the inside of his cheek.

"I have to go to class, I'll see you before lunch. Meet me by my locker." Calum ran off down the hallway, disappearing into a classroom.

I sighed and turned around, trying to get to my first hour. That was until I was stopped.

"Hi Lukey." Jessica giggled as she and her friends surrounded me.

"What do you want Jessica?" I asked annoyed.

"Well that was a nice way of saying hello. I just wanted to know if you wanted to come to my party tonight." Jessica reached up and played with my hair.

I swatted her hand away, "I have better things to do."

"You're a horrible liar. I know that you want to come Lukey, maybe we can both have a little fun while you're there." Jessica winked.

"You have a boyfriend, so the answer is no. Now will you please move out of my way and go stuff your bra again. The tissue is sticking out." I smirked.

Jessica looked down and gasped, "You're a jerk!"

"I know I am." I said still smirking as I watched her run down the hallway with her friends.

Feeling satisfied I walked off to my first class.
