I woke up to the sweet sound of my mother screaming at my bothers downstairs. Something I wake up to nearly every morning.

I groaned and sat up in my bed. Green Day was still playing from my phone from the night before.

I reached over and picked it up. I ran a hand through my hair as I unlocked my phone and texted Calum.

To Calum:
Hey, I don't feel like going to school today.

Almost immediately a response came back, mostly because Calum is always on his phone.

From Calum:
You never feel like going to school. I've got an idea, we could go and skip after lunch ends.

To Calum:
Sounds good to me. I guess you should invite Michael also since he would hate you if you just invited me and not him.

Michael and I never actually ever got along. We had times where we were actually about to kill each other. The point is, I hate him and he hates me, but Calum is friends with both of us so it's hard to avoid each other.

From Calum:
I was going to anyway. I'll see you at school. I'm just gonna go now since I know how Liz gets when you aren't ready on time.

To Calum:
K bye.

I shut my phone off and went to get my clothes and change in the bathroom.

Since I'm not that fashionable I just threw on a plain blue button up shirt and black skinny jeans.

I didn't bother brushing my hair so I just wet it down a bit since it was sticking up in the back.

I brushed my teeth and sprayed some Ax all over me.

I went downstairs only to be greeted by even more screaming, my dad sitting in the middle of all of it reading the newspaper.

I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen.

I picked up a breakfast bar and ate it in less than two minutes.

I picked my black backpack up and went to the front door.

"I'm leaving!" I yelled.

"Okay bye! Have fun sweetie!" My mother yelled back.

I inhaled deeply and headed out the front door, shutting it behind me.
