It was time for Nick to ask Ells on a date. An expensive date. Just to ask her to marry him. They both showed up to work at the same time. Ells knew nothing of Nick leaving. He did get back to bed before Ells woke up so that was a good thing.
It was about noon and Nick walked up to Ells. "I made reservations somewhere for us. Please dress nicely, I'll pick you up at nine o'clock," he said. "Oh. Okay! Sounds fun," she says.
