It was nine o'clock now and Nick walked up to Ells's door. Once he knocked, Ells opened the door. Nick scanned her up and down. She looked so beautiful with a teal dress and matching high heels. She was even wearing makeup which she never really does. He couldn't get past the way the dress hugged her curves.
"Did you hear what I asked?," Ells asked. Nick didn't realize he'd been staring and how long he'd been staring. "Uh. Um. Eh...," he looked up at her and his cheeks flushed red.
He didn't want to mess anything up between them. "Sorry," he said and scratched his head. "It's okay. I asked where we were going," she said. "It's a surprise," Nick states.
