I am not a Lemming
What they say isn't true
They don't all jump together
Like people believe they do
I am not a dodo
Living flight free all day
Until my wingless light
Is extinguished all the way
I am a Phoenix
I rise and I fly
Into the heavens
Out past the sky
I soar by the moon
Into the great beyond
Looking down on the sheep
Sleepwalking for fun
They care for nothing
They dare not create
Never reaching towards the unknown
Accepting emptiness as fate
My journey is fearless
I hope for one thing
To reach the sun
Where the angelic choirs sing
I reach my destination
To be kissed by its rays
You believe I'll be destroyed
But I'll be back someday
When I reach my target
The truth lies there for me
Fire and Rebirth
Are my great epiphany
The flame will hold me
I will incinerate
But I will be reformed
Because re-creation is my FATE
