The Mathers were in extreme grief. The youngest member of the family was in a form of comma. So the doctor, suggested they fly him to Seattle where specialist would examine him and diagnose him.~~~
Three days later.
The Mathers were in Seattle. Marshall was currently under the special care of Dr. William Plyer.
Dr. Plyer specialized in rare cases, and disorders. He was about to tell the family he wanted to x-ray Marshall for the millionth time. He said there might be a possibility he was some sort of brain damage.
A couple hours later, Marshall was in surgery. They had "discovered" a tumor and wanted to deal with it Asap.
So now that he was in surgery and his family worried sick, the doctors were in the operating room were messing around with him. They shaved his head and wrapped it in gauze to make it look real.
Only problem is that the doctors actually didn't do anything. They were playing cards and chit chatting while the Marshall was drugged.
Dr. Plyer didn't want the Mathers to doubt him. He knew that would totally ruin his reputation.
Slowly, five long and "difficult" hours had passed.
Marshall was in the recovery room. His family beside him wept.
Mr. Mathers had booked a space in the nearby motel for himself, Missy and Joseph. Mrs. Mathers would stay in the hospital looking out for her baby.
~~~
1:00 A.M
Marshall was given his own room. His mom sat beside him stroking his fine hair.
She was really tired when...
Marshall was kicking in agony. His arms were shaking. Mrs. Mathers snapped back on and called the doctors.
(Back to Marshall's POV)
I can't see!
My arms are burning. My feet too. I can smell Ma. Wait what?!
I have to open my eyes. I just have too. I hear Ma's voice.
Fuck all of the sudden a sharp pain is in my arm.
"I can't find his vein," says a strange voice.
"Bring more light in!" Hollers a second one.
It hurts so much. I can feel myself standing up.
"Marshall lay back!", I hear Ma say.
Strong hands try to hold me down. But I'm stronger. Their smell is disgusting.
I have to get out of here.
I run out, crash the window and fall out.
"MARSHALL!"
My feet keep buring so I get on all fours. It feels right.
But I still can't see.
I hit something. And I blank out again.
