Love Me Like You Used To

Chapter 12

    Mina stood with Rin behind Sesshomaru. She observed the man dressed like a wolf. She could sense the jewel shards in his legs.
      "I came here because I wanted you to deliver a message to that half breed if you run into him" said the man named Koga.
      "I have no business with that half fling" said Sesshomaru.
     "Can't you give him a message for me" said Koga with a small growl.
      "Do it yourself" said Sesshomaru and walked away.
      Mina and the group took that sign to follow after him. Mina turned and saw Koga stand there with his arms crossed.
The group was walking for a while until thunderstorm storm came from out of nowhere. A man resting on a bull came floating down from the sky, to the ground.
      "Hello!" Said the man with a high bun.
      "I have made a sword for you!" Said the man. He was about to hand the sword over but shook when he saw the scrutinizing of Sesshomaru's piercing stare.
      "Sesshomaru, stop it" Mina said but Sesshomaru walked to the tree and leaned against it. Mina shook her head and turned her attention back to the man in front of her.
      "This sword carries the power that your father possessed, however, you must find that power yourself" said the man.
       "Thank you, To-to-sei?" Mina asked him.
 
Mina thanked the man and then he left. Mina looked at the sword that was given to her. The case had intricate designs that were neatly carved. The mantle had her family heirloom on it. She nearly cried when she remembered her family and how the sword crafter could put such a memory on the sword. She unsheathed the sword and was in awe. The sword glistened in the light, but in the middle of the sword, in Japanese writing, it said Brave Warrior.
          Mina showed Sesshomaru the sword. They continued on their walk and Mina was lost listening to Rin and Jacken bicker. It was getting late and they decided to rest. Mina took Rin to bathe in a nearby hot lake. After bathing and getting food, they went to their little camp. Rin began cooking herself food.
         "This Rin wonders if you eat food?" Rin asked Mina.
         "Of course she does, but she wants you to eat first" said Mina and Rin nodded with a smile.
       Sesshomaru came back and she noticed a change about him. She tried detecting it and noticed that he had a new arm. 'So he finally got a new arm' she said to her self.
      After Rin ate, she went over to Ah-uhn where a blanket lay on the ground. She snuggled in the blanket and she was quick to fall asleep. Mina ate some of the fish that was left over. Afterwards she went to the hot spring to take a bath. It was quiet and all she heard were the crickets and the nocturnal animals. She undressed and sank slowly into the hot water. Mina jumped when she felt a hand caress her stomach. She opened her eyes and she saw Sesshomaru. She caressed his face and leaned up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
         "How does it feel with a new arm" Mina asked him. He didn't respond to her but he ran his new hand through her hair. He leaned down and gave her light kisses. Mina giggled and let out a sigh as he peppered kisses on her neck. Sesshomaru finally planted his lips on her. Mina gasped at his kiss. They deepened the kiss and wrestled with each other trying to gain dominance. Sesshomaru growled and his fangs lightly scraped her lips. Sesshomaru and Mina made love right there in the hot spring.
     Sesshomaru and Mina were dressed and back at the camp. They were both staring at the fire. "Naraku scared me that day. I felt like that day when that demon destroyed my kingdom. I want to be stronger" said Mina.
       "What do you mean we might be lost?!" Yelled a voice. 
      Mina sat up and Sesshomaru had his hand on his sword. Out of the bushes came Inuyasha. Mina couldn't help but roll her eyes. She had to admit that she didn't know this group so well. It was probably because she trusted and grew up with Sesshomaru.
       "Sorry to bother you guys, we got lost" said Kagome.
       "Please be silent, Rin is sleeping" I told them. I tried to hide my attitude but I don't think I did a good job. Sesshomaru rubbed circles on my back which calmed me down. I was on edge and I wasn't sure why I was. Mina decided that she just needed sleep.
        "Are you guys aware of the band of 7 that's been lurking around?" Inuyasha asked.
      "No" Mina answered.
     "Well be careful, they have been attacking. We already killed three of them. We suspect that they may be working with Naraku since they have been brought back to life by Naraku with the Jewel Shard" said Kagome.
       "Thank you for the information" said Mina. It was nice to have a warning. But she wondered why Naraku brought them back to life. It was probably to test them and see if they can kill or weaken the brothers.
           Mina relaxed against Sesshomaru as she watched Inuyasha and his group settle for camp. She felt sleep over her and she fell asleep.
